Went to this location to get the usual Culver’s deliciousness I’ve come to know and love. I understand that during the whole Covid 19 thing that communicating to your customers may not be the easiest. Indiana is open now and some restaurants are allowing inside dining. After walking past two workers outside waiting to take drive thru orders, who said not a word to me, I walked to the double entry doors. The right door says “do not enter”. Okay, how many times in your life have you walked into a business with double doors and one is either broken or locked and has a sign on it? Happens all the time. On the left door there was a very long small print paper that I have no idea what it said. Most likely some covid statement. They’re on every businesses doors these days. Nobody is reading them. So I walk in head to the restroom and I’m yelled at from across the store “hey restrooms are not for public use”. I said ok and decided to walk to the counter to order, there were people standing at each register seemingly ready to take my order but yet not saying a word to me. Again the same guy yells at me from across the room that I needed to leave and the dining room is closed and they are not taking orders inside. Ok. How about this. Put up signs that clearly state your intentions. How the hell am I supposed to know this info? Do not enter on one entry door is pretty vague. How about, “dining room closed”, “drive thru only” , or “ no customers allowed” ? Or something that specifically states what is going on at your establishment. Anything would be better than what is currently in use. Not to mention saving me from being yelled at by some guy who clearly lacks customer service skills and tact. And not making me angry at one of my favorite restaurants. If it were handled differently I would have gone through the drive thru. Instead I left, went somewhere else, and won’t be back for a while. Common sense would have saved the day. But instead nope make it difficult for everyone involved. I’m sure I won’t be the...
Read moreWanted to try a banana split since I never had one before, and this is what I received. Upon paying at the window, the cashier didn't give me a receipt, and I had to request a number as she asked me to pull up to one of the spots in the parking lot to wait for my food. She was busy laughing about something, I'm not sure. Most of the staff were laughing in the background at some unrelated issue, but seemed to not be serious about getting people's food out. Several people were waiting, more than usual. When one of the staff workers brought my food out he didn't say a word, and put the food in the car, not me reaching out for it, but basically placed it my lap, which may not seem to like a big issue, but it was weird, and felt intrusive. As he walked away, the person parked next to me yelled at him asking where his food was, and that he had been waiting for half hour. Five minutes later, I discovered that the banana split is leaking all over my wife's leg, and in the car. The lid was not on tight, and looks like they just poured cream into it, not putting any effort into preparing it. Culver's, at least this location, used to be a common spot to visit, as the service and food were good, but lately, it's been declining. Culver's if you all decide to reach out to me, don't be sorry, just...
Read moreHow terribly disappointing! Stopped in for some dessert at 8:45pm and was surprised to see very few cars in the parking lot, so we decided to eat in. We were promptly greeted and our order was taken immediately. 3 concrete mixers. We sat and waited and waited and waited. When I saw some other people get served that had come in long after us I went up and asked if there was a problem. It was 9:10pm. I counted 11 employees behind the counter and no customers in line. They were all goofing around. When I asked if they lost our order, three of them checked the screen, began laughing, and told me they didnt LOSE my order, they just didn't fill it. One of them said "sorry" and they'd bring it to me. At 9:18 we finally got our food. Inexcusable lack of customer service. I've been at this location before and never had a problem, but this time was horrible.
UPDATE 5/8/25 - Following the Response from the Owner I went to contactculvers.com. Spent 5 minutes filling out all MY information, and then copying the paragraph above into the complaint. Waited 2 weeks for a reply - Nothing. Went back to the website and did it again, figuring maybe I filled out something wrong the first time. It's been a month now and still Nothing. I certainly won't waste my time...
