I've shopped at this Noblesville location for years and never had any issues or felt uncomfortable. However, my last two shopping experiences have made me feel very uncomfortable. A couple weeks ago I purchased a hygiene item. I was called up to the counter. I said hello to the associate twice, she asked for my phone number so I said hello again and she gave me a blank stare. I explained that the item was damaged, and was told they no longer carried the item. I'm thinking ok layouts change all the time maybe they don't. I did ask if I could look myself and she hesitated like she didn't want me to go look. So I went on and guess what not only was the item there the entire section was filled with product! I went back to the location yesterday to exchange a product there was a lady maybe a manager with all purple hair. I was next in line for her to ring out. She never acknowledged me but began working on other tasks. When I was finally called up by another associate she came over to listen (didn't ring me out, left me standing in line but came over to see why I came in the store basically) so I'm explaining the exchange needed to the associate. I get the item when I walk back towards the line the lady with the purple hair is whispering to the associate that was helping me and gave me a very dirty look, a look of disgust (mind you she never greeted me, acknowledged me etc. Just the dirty look like I was doing something wrong) I was exchanging a multi pack of lashes there was one pair missing . I didn't include the worn pair due to hygiene purposes. When I got back to the counter the associate says well there's a pair missing so we would need the pair back. I said ok that's fine as the used pair of lashes was in my car. I walked outside and retrieved the pair. I think the lady with purple hair thought the lashes I had on were the missing pair in the pack but it was a completely different style. I pay and purchase for all of my needs and wants. I have integrity, morals and values, I'm highly educated and I'm Blessed to be financially free. (All things that I should not have to say to shop at Ulta) The first time I overlooked the way I felt when the associate wouldn't not say hello in return but was overly excited to greet the next customer as I walked away. However after two experiences back to back. I do feel like there has been a negative shift at this location and I can't help but to feel like it's racism involved. I should be able to enjoy my shopping experience like any other customer. This is the closest location to me and I will be contacting corporate. I hope I can find the original receipt to provide the names to corporate and make them aware of how their associates are treating customers. Very bad...
Read moreI had the worst experience I e ever had in my life at Ulta in Noblesville Indiana today. We drove down to Noblesville for my daughters birthday and rented a hotel across from HTC to swim and shop for her birthday. She had four 10 yr old friends with us from the moment we walked in the store two employees followed the girls in every single isle they went into. I was in a different isle looking and one of the girls called me and was freaking out because a lady was following them around the store so they wanted to know where I was and came to me so I told them to just stay with me. I get a phone call from my son so I start asking him what he needs, the girls are standing in a circle and a lady named Alexis approaches them and tells them “Not to steal, it’s not nice” and says it again. My girls come tell me and I said who said that to you? Alexis hears me and then says “ Do we have a problem here?” I said “ I don’t know, do we?” I wanted to know why she was approaching the girls and saying that while another lady followed them? Alexis gets loud with Me and says she’s just trying to stop people from stealing. I asked her are you saying my girls are stealing? She then says “ are you accusing me of saying that?” I was like, you are insinuating that they are. Another lady Jenny walks up maybe the manager not sure, did absolutely nothing. Told Alexis to go sit down meanwhile one girl is crying she’s so upset my daughter is begging to leave. I tell everyone to put their stuff up and leave. These girls all had their own money it was my daughters birthday and it was unacceptable behavior from some employees at Ulta today. I understand some kids probably do go in with not good intentions but NOT my girls today. Unacceptable! I will also reach out...
Read moreThe Salon at Ulta was absolutely terrible! They are not worth the price you pay and they had the audacity to charge me more for services to try and fix my hair after they messed it up the first time.
Let me begin by saying that I've had my hair dyed with no issues for the last 10 years. I recently moved and had to find a new stylist so I thought I'd try ulta as I go there for my hair supplies.
I went in and had my "Inspiration". I wanted to have highlights. Becca, although very nice, is very inexperienced and the turnout made me cry. She dyed my hair orange. Sh then immediately schedule a follow up appt to fix the issue. When I went back she said I had to speak with her manager. The manager had said she wouldn't charge me ! Mind you, I'm in bc she screwed up my hair in the first place. So becca tries dying my hair again... guess what? Still orange and now my hair is frizzy and looks fried. Then she hands me a bill for $50. I was so upset with the entire experience. You'd think stylists would have pride in their work and they wouldn't want someone leaving their chair looking like a total wreck and disappointed! All she said was I could come back to put in more toner! Now-- they already charged me more the second time and it looked far worse! I had to pay an additional $200 at a different salon to get my hair fixed but they wouldn't touch my hair for two weeks bc if the damage becca caused.
