It's not often that I get to enjoy fried Chicken, today, even more oddly, this morning I had a hankering for fried chicken. The last time I visited KFC I had a phenomenal experience and that was only because my food was so extremely fresh and that was only because the car ahead of us had ordered some wildly large number of chicken pieces for a party. SCORE! THAT WAS NOT MY EXPERIENCE TODAY!! At about 10:15 this morning I said KFC opens at 10:30, I can be the first in line and surely this is going to be straight out the grease. Boy was I wrong about that! So I get in line at 10:32 and I place my order for a 10-piece mix, this is with faith that it's just straight fresh chicken. I only live 5 minutes away so I made it home and I noticed one chicken is darker than the other. Usually the dark one is the original with the nice soft skin, and the other is extra crispy, it tends to be lighter in color. My daughter only eats original from KFC, she said over the bucket, because everything appeared to be extremely crispy. She took a piece and she took a bite and it was the loudest crunch that I have ever heard, even louder than the crispy. She thought she had the wrong one, sadly she did not I took a wing in original and it was crispy as well so I had to drop the conclusion that the original chicken was cooked the day prior and refried the next morning. This isn't speculation, my son and husband also came to the same determination. My husband just by looking at it said that the texture appeared to be off and it was. I think it's unfortunate that this dying chain wouldn't up their performance. The first person in line is not expecting chicken from the day prior and if that is your practice shame on your company. Instead of sending leftovers from the day prior home with employees or donating to a food bank or simply tossing it out, you choose to refry and put it in a customer's order. I'll attach a couple of pictures I'm sure you'll be able to figure out which is which. By the way the customer service was amazing which makes it even worse, what I...
Read moreStopped on my way home from work, not one car in the drive-through except me, and I thought it strange that they asked me to pull around and they would bring it out to me. But I did. After 20 minutes of sitting in the blazing 90° weather, I went in. My food was sitting on the counter, while every employee in the store.(There were six of them) was standing in the back talking. They looked at me and just continued to talk. I finally said does anyone work here, and then someone who approached and appeared to be Management, ask how she could help me, and when I explained what was going on, she let me know. She was not the manager of that store and was not working. I’m not sure what that had to do with it. So I then asked why they had me pull around, if they were just gonna forget about me. The guy from the drive-through was honest and said we have you pull around because it makes our times look good. 🧐 But it actually took 20 minutes, I just wasn’t sitting in the drive-through lane. This place is a joke, and the fact that it’s in fishers kind of blows my mind. But I guess that would explain Why at 5 PM there’s not one single Customer at the store. The manager person who said she wasn’t working, did turn and say to me it’s not really that deep. I told her with managers like her , There was no wonder there’s no cars in...
Read moreMy wife and I come here often , and unfortunately tonight will be the last time. Every time we have been in we have had an absolutely terrible experience, we have only continued to come back due to it being one of my wife’s pregnancy cravings. Every time We go , there with a 30 min wait for chicken .. Every time. We have been told at 7pm that their fryers were already filtered , If we ever want more than 2 breasts it’s 20 plus mins. There has been only once that we have not had to wait , we were at least weekly customers. We both are gms of fine dining restaurants if we know how long fryers take to filter and how long it takes to make chicken. We also know that if we were always so unprepared we would not have jobs. We don’t write reciews , especially negative ones, we have been talking about writing a review for this location ever time , because every time it is a horrible experience. The manager ( larger man- wears pin strips) could care less , he is rude, Doesn’t speak to customers, Tells the employees the wait times on chicken , is outside smoking at 7pm. This location is lazy and unprepared always! We don’t want anything free, there is no way this has gone unnoticed, the management of this place doesn’t care and you are losing so...
