We'd been a longtime fan of Thai O'Cha, so I was hesitant to try Thai Time when it opened up in the same location. However, I was pleasantly surprised. While I still miss Thai O'Cha's Tom Yum soup, Thai Time's Pad Kee Mao noodle dish is even better than my favorite dish from the old restaurant.
The Pad Kee Mao at Thai Time is a bit less spicy than the one at Thai O'Cha, but the flavors are more complex and well-balanced. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the vegetables are crisp and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the soup at Thai Time, even though I didn't get the name. It was like most traditional Thai soups, light and refreshing. The depth of flavor was amazing. I'm always amazed at how Thai soups can pack so much flavor into a clear broth.
Overall, I was very impressed with Thai Time. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for Thai food.

Read moreThe food was fresh - when we finally got it. There were four of us and they brought out the meal for my husband then a few minutes later they brought out our friend’s meal. His wife and I waited quite a long time(10-15 minutes) for our meals to be brought out. The beef in hers was very chewy and the “hot” level of spice was hotter than she expected - and she is Asian and used to spicy foods. The servers were pleasant but not very attentive. They only offered more water once and my glass was empty for the rest of the time . After waiting so long for the two meals, they only offered to give me a soda instead of water for the inconvenience of the long wait. It would have been more acceptable to offer to not charge us for our appetizer, or not charge the extra $3 for a few veggies to be added to my Pad Thai, or take half the price off our meals that were so late! It was too bad it was so delayed as the guys had already eaten half of their meals! That part was disappointing but at least my husband said his Mango Curry...
Read moreA friend and I went to check out Thai Time for our first time tonight and were happily impressed!
My only reason for leaving a 4 star is because there was a black hair in my soup. I didn’t tell the server, for she just seemed too kind to complain to, so I just picked it out, after all the soup was piping hot, plus I understand how these things can happen… but maybe they’ll read this and use it as a reminder to have everyone wearing hairnets back there.
The crab Rangoon were so yummy and my friend’s chicken satay was awesome especially with the cucumber and peanut sauces.
I got Tom Kha soup and it had good flavor, yet all the veggies were extremely fresh still, so I let the heat from the soup cook them down a little more as the entree came out right behind it.
Entree was the recommended spicy thai basil with chicken and it was a good pick.
The details and depths on the wall kept messing with my eyes and if I tried to look at it I felt like I was going cross eyed hinge the 4 star...
