I arrived and placed a mobile order at 1:09pm. At 1:29pm, I went inside to see what was going on. I found my order sitting on the counter. I asked the cashier for my drinks and she handed me four cups. Ice machine was out of ice. I asked an employee if a manager was available and she said she was a manager. I explained that I placed my order 20 minutes ago and not only did nobody bring it out, but it had been sitting on the counter. She told me I could touch the fries and if they were cold, it had been there awhile. Never did this "manager" apologize or offer to remake the food. Lastly, they didn't have 4 cup carriers so I had to use 2 cup carriers (after asking for them twice). While I was trying to carry two cup holders, 2 bags, and 2 Happy Meals to the car, a nice customer offered to help me. Not surprisingly, the food was basically inedible. By far, this was the worst example of customer service I've ever seen. I reccomend anyone in Fishers avoiding the place at all costs. They show no concern for customer satisfaction and there are too many other options available in Fishers.
UPDATE: I received a call at 2:51pm from a woman identifying herself as the GM or DM (couldn't hear her clearly) for this location. I advised her of the situation and she asked what she could do to "make things better". I told her the food was inedible and I would like a refund. She advised that they don't do refunds! She offered to remake the food and I told her I had no interest in eating from that location ever again. After an awkward moment I told her that if she couldn't do a refund then there wasn't much else she could do for me.
The customer service, at all levels of management, is laughable. It is obvious that the poor service from this location is guided by the poor example set by their upper leadership. I STRONGLY encourage anyone in Fishers that expects quality service to avoid this location. Perhaps when the P&L is impacted then the owner of this franchise will put managers in place they offer a customer...
Read moreJust now I was in this McDonald’s and I ordered a medium mocha frappe for my boyfriend. This guy who I think was a manager must have misheard me because when the order came out it was a Carmel frappe instead of mocha. My boyfriend went up to the counter and told him that it was supposed to be mocha and he literally had the nerve to yell at me across the whole restaurant. He said “you said Carmel!” And I said “no I said mocha” and he continued to try to tell me I was wrong instead of admitting that he misheard me. He had everyone staring at me and he never had to make it a big deal. He then asked me to bring the frappe he gave us back up. For what? To just throw it away? I work at a McDonald’s and I would never make such a big deal in front of so many people. As someone who works at McDonald’s, the customer is always right. He could’ve just said okay and remade it the correct way. And also there was no reason to take back the frappe when it was his mistake. No one was mad at him, we just asked for it to be fixed. He had no reason to make it...
Read moreI decided to do the McDonald's drive through this morning before I went to work. And it seemed to be there might have been some sort of malfunction with the mobile app, because the employees were struggling to find my order. Which I can understand happens, however, when I talk to the second employee and we finally got my order. She lectured me and was very rude to me about making sure I placed the order on the mobile app. Which I had already done a good twenty minutes prior to that and she told me that I backed up the entire drive through line because I didn't order on the app when I protested and told her I did and that it was not my fault. She said, fine, whatever, have a great day. I was not okay with this. There is no reason to talk to customers this way when they have done nothing wrong. I did what I was supposed to. When I tried to call the store I was hung up on multiple times. I even tried leaving feedback in the app and shockingly enough that didn't work either. This will be the last time I visit this location. Do...
