I recently hosted an event and decided to have it catered by Taziki's. I didn't have them deliver or serve. Just ordered the food for 40 people. I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful they were. Bryce, specifically. She went above and beyond to help with all my needs. She even went to restaurant depot on her own time to try and get some chafing dishes for me. I am not at all experienced with catering and I probably shouldn't have been left to make any decisions at all for this event, but here I was. I called and told Bryce about my event and she made many suggestions to help me decide what to order. Communication was amazing. Always a text away. Even when she wasn't at work. Now for the food. Fantastic! Everyone commented on it. There wasn't one item I was disappointed with. Chicken and beef were tender and tasted great. Salad was so good and rice was cooked to perfection. They provided everything necessary. Plates, cutlery, napkins, etc. Bryce even gave me several containers for my guests to take some home with them. Also... I showed up a little early for pickup and was able to watch the staff for a bit. It looks like the entire staff is as pleasant and helpful as Bryce. All working hard with a smile. I was really impressed with the entire organization. Thank you so much for making the event a great...
Read moreI ran in there Friday night 6/28 to see if they had anything I could eat real quick. I’ve been diagnosed with a condition and I have a lot of diets restrictions (gluten, dairy, seed oil etc). There was a young guy working there named Vinny and he was so kind and even when I said it was okay, he was really trying above and beyond to see if they could figure something out for me. Then when I left, he came outside and gave me some suggestions of places around that might work. As someone who normally gets the opposite of that treatment when I do venture out it was really heartwarming. Especially these days, you just don’t see people that sweet very often and I feel like when we do come across them they need all the praise they can get! I think whatever Vinny decides to do in life he will succeed with that attitude. Even though I couldn’t eat there, I’ll be telling others to go....
Read moreSo we have had Taziki’s food before at a catered event and loved it and we were excited when we saw one was opening up on Woodruff Road. That was until we ate there… I would not recommend ordering any of there “feasts” because you are basically paying for all the little containers they put your food in.
$14 for two kebobs (maybe half a chicken breast), rice and potatoes, all individually packaged in a to-go container. In order to get a normal portion at any other local restaurant you would need to order two of these “feasts” and even then at the $28 price tag it would be grossly overpriced for what you get, especially when you don’t even get any sauce.
Probably our first and last time going here. It’s a shame when restaurants prioritize profits over serving a reasonable...
