We gave Rilibertos a chance because Tacos Los Altos was closed. The trip through the drive through at Rilibertos took over ALMOST AN HOUR to get our food if that is even what you want to call the mush of a plate that was put in front of me. My chimichanga was supposed to be plain with all toppings on the side. I received a soggy mess with the chimichanga clearly flipped over to try and conceal the lettuce that was incorrectly thrown on top. My husband ordered 2 SOFT shelled Tacos with NO veggies. He received 2 HARD shelled Tacos with all the veggies included. By the time he got home he had already spent over an hour. There was nothing we could do but attempt to eat the food. The chimichanga however was INEDIBLE! Now at this point we tried to call the store to report our issues only to have NO answer OR option to leave a voicemail to submit my complaint. Since there was nothing more to do that night, I had a bowl of cereal and went to bed. The next time we remembered to call was the following Sunday when we were once again going to go out to eat. We called Rollibertos and asked to speak with a manager hoping that they would want to make our visit the previous time better and re-make the order that we did not eat. There was NO manager available that day and would not be available until the following day yet again. The employee who answered was incredibly rude, and spoke with her manager while on speaker phone so that I could hear the manager but not speak with her directly. I was able to hear every rude comment the manager was saying to her staff due to the fact she was on speaker phone. They refused to re-make our food and would not refund our money. This entire situation has been handled in the most unprofessional manner I have ever seen!. This is my first review I have ever felt the need to make. This restaurant does NOT care about their customers and do NOT deserve your money!!! Go to...
Read moreI was in Flagstaff this weekend camping with my nephew and friends. We slept in so we got a late start on Sunday. After we cleaned up camp we just wanted a quick bite to eat, some coffee, and fuel up before heading home. If I’m up early I usually hit up MartAnne’s, Biff’s or one of the other many great breakfast places in Flagstaff. But as anybody who visits Flagstaff knows, you better arrive to breakfast early or prepare to wait in line. We didn’t feel like participating in the waiting game, and decided to grab a quick breakfast burrito and head home. I was going to go to Tacos Los Altos, but the drive thru line was extremely long. Right next door to Tacos Los Altos was this place. There were only two cars in line at the drive thru so I got in line. I quickly found out why the short line. It took 15 minutes just to get to the drive thru order speaker. And when I got there it took another 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there and take my order. All I ordered was one breakfast burrito and two large drinks. It took another 20 minutes to get to the window for my food. I waited another 5 minutes again for someone to greet me, just to tell me they are out of the drink I ordered and would I like something else. The soft drink I ended up getting was flat and straight syrup. My nephew got a Piña agua fresca and it was warm. You could tell they just put it on ice. After we got our drinks we had to wait another ten minutes to get my puny little bacon breakfast burrito. In the mean time I saw more than 20 cars go through the drive thru next door at Tacos Los Altos, and that is only when we decided to start counting. How Riliberto’s is even open with quick service their competitor provides, immediately next door, is beyond me. I’d give less than 1 star if it let me....
Read moreHonestly very slow service whenever we're there, we usually get carne asada fries because we both like the dish. At this particular restaurant/drive thru though... We gave them lots of chances, but it's gonna have to be a no from me now.
Their fries are old.... or over cooked, we don't exactly know and not knowing is scary in itself lol. So the fries are hollow, HOLLOW. They're HARD and they hurt to eat, like potato chips cooked kettle style, literally not kidding. They taste like grease and there's no other flavor of the fries, unless you get sauce or the stuff on top the dish seasons it accidentally.
The carne asada and sauces they put on top the fries is usually okay, good flavor. Sometimes the carne asada is really dry and chewy, but overall okay to eat, it's the fries that are the biggest problem... Absolutely disgusting, and this isn't just one time, it's about 5-6 times.
The Horchata is wonderful, no complaints.
The burritos are... okay? I only tried one burrito, but it was pretty okay. I don't know who thinks it is acceptable to overcook the fries like that or have them sit there for hours on end like that to be so... stale/hard and greasy, but apparently this place thinks it is acceptable. DO NOT ORDER THE FRIES! Yuck.
Edit: I also forgot to mention, when we stopped by there tonight, no one answered the drive thru, not even to say if they were closed or not. Why is this posted as a 24 hr store if it...
