I understand why this location is receiving bad reviews as it is far from an ideal experience, but my experience here so far is on par with a restaurant that just opened its doors. The staff are all brand new and kind of still “training”. They are learning as they go. The restaurant in general is working out it’s kinks. The system is not going to be perfect and we should show this location and it’s employees some grace as they get their feet on the ground.
I was not surprised when I arrived to pick up my mobile order and they told me my ticket was “lost”. I could see the printer was backed up and they were behind. The manager made sure my order was immediately worked on and I was on my way in under 3 minutes from that point. The soda machine was cross wired. My Coke Zero wound up being root beer which were next to each other, so it was hooked up wrong and that’s a super easy fix. The ice wasn’t working on it but the tag ensured there was ice available to their customers. I also had a piece of bone in my chicken, but while that’s not ideal, this is something that happens from time to time when you are dealing with meat as a chicken does have bones. The prep cooks are still working on their method for cutting the meat away from the bone. Not ideal, but not worth a terrible review based on that. Besides that tiny piece of bone, my bowl came out perfect!
The staff was friendly even though I could tell they were overwhelmed. Most of them looked very young, so potentially their first jobs. You guys are doing great and will be less overwhelmed the more you perform your jobs! Being new in food...
Read moreI visited this Chipotle location around 5:45pm Sunday September 29. I am writing this complaint in reference to the service at this location, not the quality of food. At this time at Chipotle it was not particularly busy. There were approximately two patrons dining in (have already been served) and one family finishing a to-go order. There was no visible line in the drive-through section of the restaurant. Because of this, I am a bit shocked that the two employees serving customers were so curt. They rushed me and the other person I was with as if there was a long line of customers or as if they were closing soon. Additionally, they skipped past sections without letting us choose certain additional toppings. All the while with emotionless faces, as if we were doing a disservice to them by ordering at this location. I am finally writing a review as this is not an isolated incident, but a continuous pattern and a developing culture at this site. In particular, you can always count on the short gentleman with long hair and glasses to be rude, devoid of any happy emotions, and possessing a total disregard for any decent customer service. They also serve a significantly small amount of queso sauce, which is disheartening considering we are paying for this add-on and it accounts for roughly 15% - 20% of the total order price. Read moreIssue with the 2 young men working the night of 10/11. Picked up food at drive through, drove away realized the bag of large chips that goes with the queso was missing. Drove back around and asked for it, no apology or much of anything from employee. Get home, realize veggie quesadilla only has cheese in it. Drive back, and now this is my 3rd time there in 20 minutes. Deal with the other male employee, no apology, very dull attitude, casually asked “uh well do you want me to make another one?”. I said I want a whole new meal (the sides as well). He ignores this, doesn’t take the old meal from me. While waiting for the new one he opens the window and begins arguing with me that his ticket didn’t say veggie quesadilla, just cheese. I show him my receipt which shows the right order, and he continues arguing with me that his ticket didn’t say that. I told him I don’t work there, it’s not my problem and he just kept going. He brings over just the quesadilla and does not replace the entire meal. I get home and finally realize the guacamole was never in my bag either. I didn’t bother going back for it, that would have been my 4th time. Absolutely horrible experience, service and behavior and this is what happens when you let teenagers run...
