HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My sister was denied service because she was on the phone with me trying to find the right prenatal vitamins for a friend, who is on bed rest. The wife asked her to cut her speaker phone off, which she did. The husband the rudely told her "NO SERVICE FOR YOU TODAY", when she asked why he told her it was because she was on her phone IN THE STORE, not at the check out. My sister tried to find a solution and was told not to argue with him ( she wasn't arguing, she was just asking when this became a policy) and was put out of the store! We have been longtime customers for years, I stopped shopping here before the pandemic because the husband and wife have horrible energy and customer service skills, and the husband doesn't was his hands well and I have an autoimmunedisease...the Sister (who is an amazing cook) has always been friendly and helpful, and they brought their son in to try and help as well but alas the owners make this place unwelcoming. I am so glad that Flint now has Sweet Peaces, The Local Grocer, and other healthy food options so people won't feel stuck going places where their business...

After finding bugs in my calendula last month and being told by the owner (s) that I don't need to come back and they don't need my services, this place deserves a zero from me. From the guy watching me get out me car and walk around the store, to the blatant disregard for mines as well as others safety of having bugs in their products and KNOWING about it, but not doing anything about. The lady with the short hair confirmed that the bugs had been an issue, but while returning the calendula and stating that I had bugs in mines the owner states "Well this is a natural plant that does grow outside." Undermining my intelligence as well as trying to justify why there are bugs inside of your products shows just how customer service oriented this place is.

Addl' So I guess the owner thinks I'm trying to troll, but I wouldn't have a reason to, I've shopped here many times and even done business as a liason for one of my clients. But to blocked on Facebook (susan)...

I had a very eye opening experience here... They refill water jugs but if you don't buy their glass jugs they feel entitled to over charge you every time you buy water. At first they said it was just because I had a plastic jug so I was okay with being over charged. I came back like 4 days later with a glass jug I purchased and the daughter decided I should still be over charged because I didn't buy their glass jugs. I won't be coming back here because of this especially because I can get free natural spring water 20 minutes away from here. I try and support local businesses but with predatory practices like this I can't in good conscience shop here. Instead I'll take my business to dales for groceries especially because they don't sell me tuna steak that expired a year ago. I feel that this business would be better off if the mom was in charge of things and not her ego driven...
