Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Florence

Auntie Anne’s has amazing pretzels! The best in my opinion. The service is usually spot on. However, today as the employees worked hard through the busy hours the manager acted out of control as if he couldn’t handle the job. He was yelling at customers to give him their orders! Several folks felt uncomfortable with his attitude as well as the fact he wouldn’t change his gloves. When it came time for my order I was ready- and yelled it to him, he didn’t hear it and needed it repeated. From there, he wanted me to pay right at that moment, by yelling the total to me multiple times. There was a family ahead of me still paying the cashier, therefore I couldn’t do anything. Needless to say, the manager made his employees and every customer feel uncomfortable. Every other employee stayed calm and collected through the chaos, and I applaud them! First of all Alex at Florence was a little pushy, first when I told him I had 2 free pretzel coupons he stared at my phone hard, then I asked for a lighter pretzel and continued to tell me the ones in the case we're fresh, I didn't care about fresh I wanted light. Finally after 2 mins of this he finally made a new one that was lighter. I tried to make conversation but he wasn't really into it, he didn't even bag my pretzels at first, but when he found out I worked at the Eastgate location he immediately changed his tone but by then it was to late I was upset. I work here in the mall at Florence. It doesn’t matter what time of day I go down to Annie Anns The pretzels are always hard as a rock. They are old Rubbery and dried out. It’s 3 o’clock in the afternoon I just went down there they had way too many pretzels made for the amount of people in the mall. I got back to the store got them out of my bag and they are horrible.It cost me almost 6 dollars for one pretzel and some pizza sauce.Every time I go to the food court they sound so good to eat. I guess I’m going to have to start getting them out of the bag before I even leave the counter to make sure...
