I'm one of those people who is inclined to believe that all chain restaurants in the United States are alike. But BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse distinguishes itself in a couple of ways, first and foremost by it's varied and savory beer list. Second, is its extensive 20 Page menu with interesting items from spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles to seared Ahi tuna salad, North Beach mahi mahi and shrimp salad, shrimp and asparagus penne, and a variety of thin crust and thick crust pizzas. These in addition to sandwiches and burgers and appetizers and an interesting variety of signature beverages from margaritas, to fruity flavored drinks, and "handcrafted" classics from Long Island Iced Teas, Bloody Mary's, Martinis, and Whiskey Lemonades. My wife was especially pleased to find gluten-free options including pizza and desserts. Other likeable aspects of this restaurant include an entertaining, colorful, and warm decor and gentle trendy background music. My disappointments were the seemingly greasy floors throughout, and paper toweling from the bathroom that was littered across the bathroom and hallway floors. Why doesn't a restaurant clean this mess up on a routine basis? Why doesn't the manager follow up to ensure that the bathrooms are clean and tidy at all times? Also, while I loved the french fries even though they were a little too salty I was disappointed with the small size of the side order not much more than a medium order of McDonald's fries. When we asked at what price, instead of answering the question, our waitress just went and brought us more, although, with a smile. I enjoyed my spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles. The waitress was right to recommend the Sriracha hot chili sauce with it. Note that soba noodles are wheat based... that is, they are brown instead of white. The chicken was very tender and the broccoli was properly cooked and still crunchy. The Cobb Salad contained leafy greens, as opposed to just iceberg lettuce. And it was plentiful. I would also add that if BJ's wants to act like an upscale restaurant they need to add some free mints at the hostess station for on the way out. We moved to this area in July of this year and I'm pretty sure will come back on a regular basis.

It had the potential to be amazing. Our waitress was good but she could've been better. We ordered appetizer plate and I said we wanted the mild wings because I don't do spice. She didnt bother to tell me even their mildest wings were still buffalo so we couldn't eat those at all. I had parmesan encrusted chicken and it wasn't close to what the menu showed and was tough. I ate a single bite. My daughter got Mediterranean tacos which came cold and not so good. Also the spin dip came cold with bnb ine side warm so I still don't know if it's meant to be hot or cold. Mom got the ribs and they were good but it her sides were disgusting. We order the pizookie trio and they're amazing although we asked for nice cream in the side so we could take them with us. She didnt do that and when we re.unded her she simply said sorry but didnt fix that so we couldn't take this with us because they would have been to soggy. We paid about 100 bux for ribs and half of ok ur pizookie. We didnt ask for a discount but figured she would attempt to do something as we ate about 5 percent of the food because if their mistakes. Probably wont return or if we do we will make sure they take the time to get our stuff right.

Fairly extensive menu of good bar type foods, pizza, and beer. The service was slow. An appetizer was sat down without plates or silverware. Our server slammed items on the table. There was a large party next to us that left shortly after we were seated. The table was a mess and not bussed the entire time we were there. We had the California Supreme deep dish pizza. Good flavor but the crust was slightly underdone. When I reheated the leftovers, the crust was perfectly crisp. They may be known for their pizookie, but there's a great dessert "hidden" in the menu. If you are a fan of strawberry shortcake, try the Baked Beinet with vanilla ice cream. It's a nice size to split between two people. It was so good I didn't get a photo until we finished.

My friends and I visited the establishment in Florence, KY on Saturday night, November 16th. Two of us order one thin crust pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions, to split. The first time the pizza arrived at the table it had a minimal amount of toppings. The mushrooms were so sparse that it appeared as if 1 whole mushroom was cut up and tossed onto the pizza. The second time the pizza arrived at the table, the edges of the wafer-thin crust were browned but the toppings placed on the pizza were in no way cooked. This SECOND pizza was less edible than the first. We once again asked for a manager and that is when the big boss, Mike, came to the table. So big Mike returns to the table 10 minutes or so later with our THIRD PIZZA and before setting it down explains that instead of using the pizza sliced onions, they have decided to use the chopped onions for the burgers so that they would be smaller and cook better. OMG, I do believe that the person making this pizza literally put an entire onion on the single pizza. What I thought was cheese on one slice was a pile of thinly slice onions. I scraped onions off this slice and realized I had enough on my plate to cover the entire pizza. As I looked over the pizza, I then noticed that one slice also contained green pepper! WTH, we didn't order green pepper and at that comment the 3rd person in our party asked what was on yet another piece of the pizza and it turned out to be sausage! By this point one member of our party was finished eating while the other 2 of us were starving and struggling to keep our composure. It was at this time that my friend had to get up from the table and go to a group of servers to request that they once again send a manager to our table. Mike returned and he was not happy. My friend commented that we our food was being sabotaged and at that Mike picked up the pizza and without another word walked away. At this time our waiter apprehensively approached the table and asked if we wanted something else. We asked for dessert and we each ordered a pizookie. When our server returned with them, he proudly said, "I know you asked for minis, but I thought you deserved the regular size!" They are the size of an individual pan pizza and have 2 heaping scoops of ice cream on top. I took a bit from the side of the pan with just a tad of ice cream and the flavor was good. My friend on the other hand, took the ice cream off the top of hers and dug right into the middle. Now, I know you won't believe this when I say it and it took some convincing for me to believe it myself, but the cookies were RAW!!! I am talking complete mush. We both just started laughing as almost as if to stop from crying. My frustration had just boiled completely over and when the waiter came back to the table he could clearly see before we said a word that the cookies were not cooked. He just stood there with a look of utter embarrassment on his face. The management team, especially Mike and the person or persons responsible for cooking our food that night should be fired. Neither of the managers ever did return to the table to try to make any sort of amends or advise either of us that our pizza had been taken off the check. We were still charged for our sodas, an appetizer split by the 3 of us and our friend's entire meal. I was astounded. I have worked in customer service nearly 35 years and some of which were in restaurants and I have never delivered food to the same customer 3 times not only inaccurately but thoroughly inedible. I have always followed the montage that the "customer is always right" regardless of how painful that pill might be to swallow. And I have always done my absolute best to make it right. My friend and I will never return to your establishment and I will do all that is in my power to make sure that I spread the word of how utterly incompetent the individuals are that were responsible for my...

In fairness I can't rate the atmosphere as I ordered delivery. I don't like writing negative reviews and usually give the business a chance to respond to an email. before I post publicly on google but that never happened. First time eating at BJs Restaurant and wanted to try a deep dish pizza, since deep dish is pretty uncommon in this area. I live in a nearby city but was in Florence while hardwood was being put down in my home and was excited to learn I was able to try BJs finally. Ordered via the website which was pretty user friendly and easy to navigate. I ordered a large deep dish pizza 1/2 BBq chicken and 1/2 Veggie for delivery. The pizza arrived and at first glance looked amazing, loaded with topping and cheese. Then we took a bit... I never thought pizza could be bad...The bar isn't set high for edible pizza when you consider the $1 frozen pizzas at the grocery store is edible..This pizza was not even edible and an entire large pizza went into the trash.

I really don't know what happened as the BBQ chicken also had the veggies mixed in. A combination of chicken, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives along with BBQ sauce and cheese is disgusting. Imagine eating regular pizza and bbq at the same time. I am still unsure if that half was the chicken or the veggie because the other side had tomato sauce, cheese and tomatoes and possibly bbq sauce drizzled on top as the crust had signs when sugar cooks. I don't know how this happened or how it even made it out of the restaurant because when you take a close look the mistakes are abundantly clear.

At first. we thought maybe they just mixed up the sauces, which is a pretty understandable mistake but that wouldn't account for the veggies also being put on? We actually took one or two bites to avoid throwing an entire pizza in the trash, not only were we hungry but we also don't like throwing money away...For the price of a BJs pizza, it should be edible...I never post a negative review without giving the business a chance to respond or resolve the issue as I'm aware mistakes do happen...But I did reach out to Bjs about a week to give them an opportunity to resolve the issue which did not get a response. Maybe this was a single incident but first impressions matter and we will think twice before...
