When we walked in, the space was bright, clean, and refreshing. They have a decent amount of seating indoors or you can get your food to go. Service was great! Super friendly and a pleasant interaction.

This place functions similar to Chipotle, you pick your choices and build either a bowl, burrito, quesadilla, taco, or nachos.

Let's just get this clear -- this place could easily beat a Chipotle bowl. I eat Chipotle often due to its close proximity to my house, but that might change now.

Their meats are kept warm in a Dutch oven style pot and they offer a number of toppings for your entree along with several signature sauces (chipotle sauce is so good).

I got a barbacoa beef bowl with white rice, black beans, sour cream, cheese, corn, and chipotle sauce. (As pictured) this bowl HIT it was so delicious I quickly devoured the whole thing. The corn had red cabbage instead of onions (they have a separate onion/cilantro topping) and that was life changing. The combination of the flavors was immaculate. The star of the show was the meat. It literally melts in your mouth: so soft and full of flavor.

You can also add a side of chips and salsa/queso for a nice price with your meal. They also offer cookies and other sweets as an additional add on. Their fountain drinks were great - not watered down like some places.

Its really really growing on me,its different than Chipolte,Qdoba or Hotheads which i both prefer over Chipolte,its unique,its own thing.First time i went was a total disaster,gave it another chance and it was a huge improvement over first time.Went back tonight and had a totally different employee working,she said she was from Cincinnati store on Short Vine.I got a bowl that was just amazing the service couldnt been any better.If i had that same experience each time i wouldnt think twice about being my first choice over the competition because i like the concept.I do see a couple problems though.Its new,people dont know its there buisness seems to either have a rush,or be slow,so arent prepared sometimes for a customer and is a wait for certain items and finding really friendly people with people skills ready and willing to work.Past two times i went i truly enjoyed the experience and food.I hope i continue to have the same experience and will...

Smiling faces when you walk in and pleasant staff that don’t seem like the life is being sucked out of them like many of the other cafeteria-style Mexican restaurants in the area… if you know what I mean. These people seem actually happy at work and that comes through in the service, upkeep of the location and generally excellent experience.

The food itself is fantastic, and the portion sizes are such that you don’t feel the constant need to ask “Can I have a little bit extra?”. In that respect, this place is what Chipotle used to be fifteen years ago but so much better in so many ways. Consistently good too.
