Captain D's — Restaurant in Florence

Food was ok. But service was horrible. I ordered 8pc shrimp and fish, another plate, and I also ordered cracklins. When I paid, I let the girl know that I also needed a good bit of tarter sauce. After waiting about 10 minutes, the girl came back to the window and proceeded to ask for $10.02, which must have been for the next car. When I explained that I had already paid, she asked me if I had two sandwiches and I replied no. She handed me my food and I noticed there were like 2 small tarter sauces so I asked for more. She handed me a handful that I couldn't handle and a couple dropped on the ground. As I was driving off, I noticed the cracklins weren't in the bag, only because they come in a different box. I went back through the drive thru and waited again to get those.

After getting back home I noticed that my plate was missing two shrimp and the extra piece of fish. I checked my receipt and I did pay for it. I called back up there to let them know. And honestly my only goal was to maybe get a piece of fish noted so I could get it later, but the girl's attitude about it was terrible. She informed me that she remembered me and had bagged my order and she knew exactly what was in there... which she obviously didn't. Sqhe asked why I didn't ask about the missing fish and shrimp when I asked about my other missing item and I informed her that I had not opened the other boxes there in the parking lot. Then she said I could come back up there and get my fish, but that's all they could do since she knew what all was in my bag. I told her to keep her fish.

Then after I got off the phone I realized that my plate also only had one hushpuppy and that both of my drinks were Diet Pepsi instead of Pepsi as I had ordered.

Piddly stuff, I know... and I don't even really care about the missing and wrong stuff.. but her attitude was horrible and totally uncalled for. Guess I remember know why I hardly ever go there. The service has been horrible and the wait has been long the last few times I've been there.

I consider myself a loyal customer of Captain D's because I visit there frequently and like their meal offerings. However, I'm very disappointed at what happened today August 4th 2021 around 1 pm. I went to drive-thru and ordered 3 orders of white fish & shrimp skewers with baked potato and broccoli on all orders. I repeated 2 or 3 times what I want and asked the cashier again if she got what I want. She said "Yes, come to the window". So I came to the window and she is giving me a total for one order. I told her I ordered 3 items. I didn't receive any apologies, she just told me park at parking lot. 20 minutes have passed and another worker is bringing my food. I was pleased to receive 2 pies with the order, however I started looking in the bag to find out that one box is missing and shrimp skewers are missing as well. Keep in mind that I'm on my work break which lasts 1 hour. So at this point, I'm getting very upset and going to the window again. I told the cashier what I'm missing. Again NO APOLOGIES... She acted like it's totally normal. That's very disturbing! She again said park at the parking lot. Another 20 minutes passes (food is getting cold by the way) and finally a worker bringing the rest of the order. I check the bag again to make sure it is correct. But NO, I got corn instead of baked potato. I didn't care at that point and just left. So, I had to wait 40 minutes in total to receive my order!!! All I ask is to improve the SERVICE,...

Rude people. After calling to advise we had a door dash order to pick up we were told we had to wait. Put on hold and we were in the drive up line. We either had to park or stay in line. People behind us in line were waiting for us and after we moved forward in line someone got back on the phone and rudely stated we will have to wait in line and the order was sitting there ready 15 min. Later we picked up the order because we complained the food was sitting there why could they not bring it out? We were then told they did not have enough help. After I went inside 1 girl who was blonde and had a mug on her face just stared as I walked to the counter she then got up towards me. Another came from outside and most me at the counter and I stayed I was from Door dash and the blonde made a remark. Then sat back down to eat. I picked up the food but my observation was the blonde was concerned about eating and was frustrated and not happy. Sorry but I had a customer to take care of....and I cared to do my job.
