Lil Capones — Restaurant in Florence

Went to the Cloverdale location but the oven was having issues so we decided to go to the Florence location. Our waitress was new but was attentive. Ordered lasagna and when it came out it was on 2 plates stacked up because the first plate was so hot. They added a second plate so our waitress didn't burn her hands. Didn't take a genius to realize my food had been in a microwave and over-nuked as the sauce was splattered on the outer rim of the plate. Taste was OK. Should have sent it back but was hungry and my wife suggested the place so I didn't want to ruin things for her. My biggest gripe with the place was there the table at the front of the restaurant for the waitresses. While not serving customers it served as an informal hang-out where their half-eaten lunch/drinks sat along with their phones and other belongings. A few played with their hair. In general, an unprofessional environment that I had to view while I ate my microwaved lasagna. When our waitress brought our check she was holding her half-finished Starbucks. I generally like to leave positive feedback but in this case I can't. I'm not knocking the waitress as she had only started there and had not been trained. Not sure about the person that nuked my food. I blame the management for the lack of training for the lack of a proper break area for the workers. I'll find somewhere else to...

During our visit to Florence, we discovered this wonderful restaurant through a Google search for highly-rated places (4.5 stars or higher). Our group decided to give it a try, and we were truly impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality and service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and polite, making sure our orders were taken promptly and accurately.

The food was outstanding, far surpassing our expectations for a strip mall location. Our glasses were always full, and the server checked on us regularly. Although my wife’s chicken parmesan was slightly overdone, the server quickly resolved the issue to our satisfaction.

The gangster-themed atmosphere was a bit quirky but added a unique charm. Our friends from Alabama enjoyed it as well and mentioned they would bring other friends for future visits. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return. We truly appreciate the excellent service and...

Can’t leave a review on the food as I’m still sitting in the restaurant waiting…we got here at 12:30 to be seated. Got seated around 1:15 the waitress went to take our order and then asked if she could run someone’s check real quick and we said yes…30 minutes later we were still waiting to place our order my husband had to get up and ask for us to place our order. An hour later and still waiting on our food while. While I’m assuming the manager came over to let us know it was crowded and our food was up next it’s 2:30 and we’re finally getting our food as I’m writing this review.
