Ham's Seafood Market — Restaurant in Florence

I visited Ham's recently for the first and likely last time. The food was decent, the usual fried fish camp fare but the attitude of the woman who seemed "In Charge" was a real turn-off. She was at the register and said, "You order here.". I walk up and she says, "What do ya want?" No menu offered, just some specials on the wall behind her. I and the lady I brought picked one and she announces the price and runs my card. No, "Thanks for coming in, how may I help you?": etc. Her tone was such that I gathered I was just one more annoyance in her life. Afterward, at my lady friend's insistence, I went up to the desk to leave a nice tip for the lady that brought the food. This woman behind the register completely ignored that. No "Thank you" or anything. Zero customer service. Maybe someone needs to explain to her that Ham's is not the only business in the Pee Dee that serves...

**As of August 2024, new restaurant hours have been finalized following a couple months monitoring: Tues - Fri, 10am - 2:30 pm; and, Sat 10 am - 1:30 pm. The market side hours are longer and posted above in the business ‘overview’ area of this Google description.

Quick, easy, tasty and great service. All dinners lightly fried in a breader, not batter. Served with French fries, Cole slaw and hush puppies. Call ahead to order a take out, can order take out at counter or grab a table and enjoy. Sweet tea is fantastic too, with free refills. Pepsi products available in cans as well. And, don’t forget you can get some seafood from the market side to take...

I used to love Ham's seafood, but have been really upset with the quality of their seafood lately. I had it today for lunch and actually felt quiet sick. I had ordered my first dinner and did not like the freshness of the seafood and thus sent it back and was offered another dinner. I was once again not only dissatisfied with the second meal but felt actually sick, I will not eat there ever again nor will I purchase anything from there...
