Update 9-26-23: I finally found someone from corporate that said they contacted the location where this all occurred. They stated they contacted them a couple of times. Unfortunately they cannot issue refunds and it is up to the individual location to issue refunds. This really stinks because it happened during a time when we were taking care of people during hospital stays. So to anyone out there trying to order from them online please be wary. The location that will jot issue our refund at 1904 West Evans St in Florence, SC. Their current hours are 7am-2pm. So unfortunately, I do not have a chance to go by there and ask to speak to the manager. This experience has ruined my opinion of Huddle House. I will go to the Waffle House from now on when I want a good breakfast. Enjoy my hard earned money. I hope they can sleep well at night knowing they are taking advantage of people.
Customer service for the company is horrible! We placed an order back on June 21, 2023 for afternoon pick up. When we got there around 5:30pm the business was closed. They did not notify us they would be closing at a certain time that day. We were picking up some hot wings for my Father-in-law so he could have dinner that night at the hospital with his mom who had been there for days. Huddle house took our money for the food.We sent an email regarding this issue the same day. No one has contacted us about this issue. I have called their customer number about every 10 days or so since. I can not actually speak with anyone in the company since their call center is outsourced. We used to love to eat at Waffle House. They had really good breakfasts that I enjoyed. But after this fiasco I am not sure we will ever eat there again. I should not have to wait for over 6 weeks before someone contacts us back whenever the email response stated one to two days! I will be taking my breakfast wants to other eating establishments from now on. I was trying to wait before writing a review for the world to see, but...
Read moreLet’s just start by saying I am a frequent customer at Huddle House for well over 10 years , my husband & I. So much so the cook knows us and always make a point to greet & talk with us. Nice guy! Today I visited the establishment (W. Evans St) to get something to eat & do some work on my laptop. I will admit I was there a few hours. No big deal sitting quietly by myself. There were hardly any customer there. Most of the tables were empty. The owner( black guy) came back and ask me to leave and stated customers aren’t allowed to occupy a table after you have eaten. I look at him like he was crazy, but said ok I will leave. I was not using the free huddle house guest WiFi. I was using my own hotspot. I was not disturbing anyone there was only 2 other customers there. I was not loud. I sat quietly and the waitresses were not complaining either. So I was very taken back his rudeness. My husband & I will NEVER step foot back in that place! He lost our business for sure!!!!! Makes no sense to me!! I am even more appalled that he is BLACK & being rude to a BLACK...
Read moreHORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I'm only giving one star because a patron paid for our food prior to knowing that service and quality of food was less than. This place is GHETTO and service is horrible Waited over 25 minutes for our food only for the order to not be complete and the food wasn't even hot. Sat on the counter for minutes before the waitress pick it up to bring to the table. My aunt never even received her meal. Hashbrowns were cold and over cooked. Waitress wasn't attentive to her tables as she should have been instead she's having a disagreement with staff about who wouldn't serve a table and the fact that she's 32 yrs old and not to be messed with. Completely unprofessional. If I could I would SHUT THEM DOWN! COOK DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED! Extremely poor representation of The Huddle House brand. I would NEVER RETURN nor RECCOMEND this location. God bless the patron who paid for our meal rather lack there of. Very disappointing. I came from NY looking forward to Huddle House. Boy...
