Office Depot — Local services in Florence

The computer so far has been great and takes some time to learn all the features. I purchased the computer from Florence South Carolina office depot and my experience was good and bad. When I went in for more information on this computer I received great customer service. The individual walked me through all the programs and how Office Depot would set everything up for me. The next day I went in for pick up and was going to buy a computer chair to go with my new computer. I had terrible customer service- no one seemed to know where anything was and I had to give up on buying a chair.(Later bought online from Office Depot). I proceeded to pick up my computer and they brought me back to finish up setting up a Microsoft account. Then the employee/manager gave the computer box to me. Then I proceeded to unhook everything not knowing what cord was what. They could not tell me if the power cord they were using for my computer set up was mine or not. I also had to pack up the computer myself not knowing if it was ready. No employee walked me through what they installed or why Microsoft office was not installed on the computer when they told me, "they would install that for me." My overall experience was very unprofessional, lacked customer service, and managers/employees need to be more knowledgeable of products. I placed a curbside pick up order at 9 am and at 10 am I received confirmation that my order was ready for pick up. At 12pm I drive to the store and follow all posted instructions. I Parked on the curb, I checked in through the email, and I waited patiently...for 15 mins. There were signs on the windows saying the store was closed but I assumed that meant curbside only since I received an email that my order was ready for pick up. 15 mins later someone finally pokes their head out asking why I was there. I explained I had an online order pick up and I was waiting on it to come out. I was told that they were deep cleaning and couldn’t bring anything out and they were closed in general. No explanation as to when I would be able to come back just “we may be open later today or maybe tomorrow.” While I do understand why they had to close l, I’m more irritated and don’t understand why I was not called and informed. Instead I had to waste my lunch break sitting there waiting on someone to tell me something. This store is a mess on all levels. I have a business project I'm working on so I went to Office Depot (Printing Dept.) this morning. I arrived at 8:25am and the manager told me the printing section doesn't open until 8:30am. I waited at the desk and at 8:30am no one arrived. 10 minutes later, no one showed. Another 10 minutes, no one showed...At 9:00am (when I normally arrive at my office), no one showed at Office Depot (Printing).I looked over and saw the manager make a call, and it was to the person who was 30 minutes late. She ended the call. I went to the back of the store and picked out a few sheets of foam core (board) because I didn't have time to wait any longer. When I got to the register the manager approached and said the employee was late because she "couldn't find her cell phone". I asked the manager if she called the employee's landline phone or her cell phone. She said she called her cell phone. That's all I have to say about that..."Who is on...
