My Wife and I went out to eat last night for our thirteenth wedding anniversary. The hostess lead us back to the table where kids were screaming,as that was what I hearing when we stepped inside. The hostess attempts to set us at this table. I said No thanks. My we be seated at another table. She then seated us at another table. As my wife and I waited for other customers hopefully to come and join us that wasn't with the wild bunch. But then the hostess said to us ,,we need you to set at that table. I Replied NO. You seated us here. We will wait. Hoping that the kids behind us would start putting food in there mouth. These parents we're just laughing it up. Kids throwing food across the table. No my wife and I were not about to set at that table. Look I have four daughters .they have never and would never act up in such a unruly manner. They were brought up not too. I told my wife, I'm sorry but I can't tolerate this. Well this made the manager mad because I guess they had to proceed with three empty seats. My Wife and I decided on the way out .Hey we will do without the knife show and set at a table by the bar area. I ask the bartender, May we set here and order dinner? Of course he said. We'll here comes the manager with her arragent attitude. By this time I'm really ready to go some where else. But my wife said lets just set over here. After that the manager said set where ever . And walked off .The sever came over and took our order. We ate a few bites and I asked for a box . Look the food was good. I've eaten there fifty times in the last two years. I just want too thank the parents and the woman manger, for Really screwing up My Wife and our thirteenth anniversary dinner. I don't blame the kids,obviously they've been raised like that. My thoughts,the manager should be fired. But my blood pressure was really up ,needless to say the rest of our night went Very Well. But they will never enter there doors again. ...
Read more02/15/2021 The food was good. The rice had a little different taste to it than I’m used to, but still good. Wait staff and chef were good. Wasn’t crazy about eating with plastic fork. However, my main complaint is the wait time. We called an hour ahead to make a reservation at 6:45 for a party of 4. Upon arrival at 6:45, we walked into the door with a small crowd inside. The hostess was very busy managing togo orders, the phone, and waiting on the customers upfront trying to get a table. At 6:47 we notified her that we were there for our reservation. We stood there for a little bit but ultimately sat down as we realized we were not being immediately helped. She did not notify us how long we were going to wait. She told others as they walked in the door it was 1-1.5 hour wait for the grill side or you could be sat now in the bar side. We were never given this option to sit on the bar side. A big reservation that was there before us got sat and another another big party that was sitting in the lobby when we got there (that didn’t seem to have a reservation) was sat a few minutes after us being there on the grill side. Three other parties made up of 2-4 people were sat on the bar side before us. Another couple walked in with a reservation at 7. After waiting 30 minutes, we were finally sat at 7:15 with the couple who had a reservation at 7. When we got to the grill side, it seemed to be that there were only 2 chefs working back there which was most likely the hold up. Both big parties that were sat before us were starting to eat and we had to wait until one of those chefs to be done cooking to finally start having our food cooked. Read moreLet me start by saying that I’ve never put a bad comment about a restaurant in my life. But I’ve never been a customer treated like this by a restaurant in my life either. Went to eat a nice dinner here after a long week. Sat on the non hibachi grill side because they had an hour + wait due to large parties with reservations. Even though we were told previously that they don’t do reservations. But ok. Ordered our food and my wife’s steak came out not as well done as she wanted. She orders her steak very well done, and with her being pregnant wanted it very well done. She asked them to cook it longer and the waitress took it back. About a minute later she brought it back out… not sure this was enough time to cook it much more but ok. She cut into it and it was still a bit pink. She asked the waitress to have them cook it for longer. The nice waitress took it and then came back and told us that the chef REFUSED to cook it more. I asked for a manager and she said he was in the back and too busy to come out. Never in my life have I ever had someone tell my wife that they wouldn’t cook her food the way she wanted it cooked. They said he wouldn’t cook it more, but that they would take it off the bill. After they later tried to charge me for it, they ended up taking it off the bill, along with discounting my meal. Why would a restaurant take $40 off a bill, leaving my pregnant wife to sit there not being able to eat, instead of just cooking the steak for a few more minutes. We are not difficult people, we just wanted the steak cooked how she wanted it cooked. Will never be back to this...
