Lui's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Florence

Old.Old.Old. The owner(s) need to invest in their restaurant. The exterior awnings are faded and dirty; the parking lot spaces need to be repainted. The “landscape” needs tending. All of this is your customer’s first impression. The first impression was not good, but we continued to walk inside. We were greeted by a friendly server and seated right away. Our booth had so many cracks in the vinyl seat, it looked like there had been a knife fight in the booth. There is only a buffet; no menu. Sushi is only available on Sundays. The buffet plates are so old, they appear dirty when they are clean. They need to be replaced. The chandelier above the buffet - take it down or keep all the lights working. The food was mediocre, at best. The serve and cook staff appear to work hard for the customer. That is all I can say good about this restaurant. People want hot, tasty food. If it is on a buffet, that buffet should at least have new-looking plates. Please invest in...

This is a place that me and my husband visit quite often. The service is always great, but this last time we had a baby roach to crawl across our table. I alerted the waitress Alley and she informed the manager. You would have thought he would have came out and apologize or something, but we received no response except from the waitress as she did let the manager know. I could have yelled roach, but I discreetly informed the waiter and showed her the dead roach on a napkin. I wasn't out to hurt their business, but simply wanted to bring it to their attention. I didn't appreciate the manager not coming out to apologize being I am a repeat customer. This was bad...

The food was mediocre at best, honestly I feel like the food was too watered down, the sweet and sour chicken tasted like it was fried with their doughnuts, not only that but the general tso chicken didn't remotely taste like it was general tso. The only quality of the place was the atmosphere however the floors felt really sticky I saw a spider on the corner where I was eating. The waitress we had only came up to our table 3 times twice for a refill once for the bill and it took about 10-15 minutes for her to initially get to our table.
