I took my mom and my friend out to dinner on the 16th. I paid about $60 for our meals. Our waiter was very rude kept walking away from us even when my mom was about to order a drink, keep in mind the drink is almost $20 definitely not spending that with the rude service we were getting but definitely didn’t matter bc the server kept walking away anyhow.and attitude was just very negative feeling I got home and in the morning when I looked at my bank account. It said I was negative, I did not write on the receipt a tip, but I tip was added to the receipt and I saw the receipt as well and it was not my hand writing the manager continue to argue with me that the server did not write on the paper, but it was obviously handwriting. I continued explain that I had a writing disability, so definitely knew it was not my hand writing, and he continue to argue saying that the server would not do that they gave me my $10 back but it did not help the fact that when I pulled my money out of my cover the -$10 that they had already taken out so in reality I was still out of $10. I went to this restaurant for the past year because my friend took me very unprofessional, irritating experience. I would recommend the other margaritas on 2nd Loop,...
Read moreI recently dined here and had an incredibly mixed experience.
First, I have to give a huge shout-out to our server, Blake. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely tried to help. He gets five stars for service.
The rest of the experience? Not so much.
My main dish, 'A Little Bit of Everything,' was essentially inedible. The beef was oddly 'watered down' (a texture I've never encountered before), and the meat had zero flavor. I took two bites and had to set it aside.
The drinks were also disappointing. The pitcher we ordered tasted like pure syrup—I genuinely believe there was no alcohol in it, which is unacceptable for the price.
When I alerted Blake to the issues, he was apologetic and offered a 10% discount. While I appreciate the effort, having to pay for a nearly full, substandard meal and a non-alcoholic sugar pitcher is unacceptable. I believe comping the plate and adjusting the pitcher price would have been the correct resolution. It's a shame the kitchen and bar didn't live up to the great service...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!!! We went there yesterday afternoon and ordered drinks they were nasty so we sent them back and ordered more. Our waiter took another tables food order before he put our drink order in so we decided to leave. My friend left her phone there and they called us later on that night telling we left the phone at the restaurant, there was a bill and to come get the phone tomorrow. We went today when they opened and the manager tried to make us pay for the drinks we didn’t even consume. She held the phone and told us she was no giving the phone back until we paid the bill. She threatened to call the police I told her to go ahead because we didn’t do anything wrong. We sat and waited for the cops meanwhile her daughter a waitress was talking trash calling us broke the whole time while we waited. When the cops came he told her the exact same thing we did that he can’t force us to pay for something we didn’t consume. I will never return here again and it’s said to say it was my first time...
