If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Not only was the coffee I ordered terrible, but the owner was even worse. I normally do not leave reviews like this, but I find it necessary to leave this review for others. After reading some of the other reviews, I can see that I am not alone in my experience. Please support other businesses in the area. I ordered two pumpkin spice lattes with coconut milk. While ordering, the ownerâs co-worker accidentally under charged me, and the owner condescendingly corrected the young girl about the $2 difference. After receiving my coffee, I thanked them, and happily left. However, I noticed the smell of the coffee was off, and my husband tasted his twice, and had to spit the coffee out both times. Anyone that drinks coconut milk knows how easily it can spoil. So, I thought no big deal, we will go back and let her know so no one else gets spoiled milk and ask for a new coffee. I walked in, notified the owner of the taste being off, and to my surprise she became extremely agitated and defensive of her ârecently purchased coconut milk.â I explained to her that this has happened to me, it doesnât take much for coconut milk to spoil. She began raising her voice and stated that it wasnât her problem and she isnât going to do anything about it. I responded by pointing out how rude and condescending her behavior was to me and to her co-worker, and because of this I would like a refund. She spitefully stated that she would not give me a refund, and I stated that I was not leaving without one. She continued to make a scene exclaiming, âI donât see how this is my fault.â I repeatedly told her that I never blamed her, but that I did not want to pay for a coffee that I was not able to drink due to the bad taste. She finally refunded my money, and said, âdonât ever come back here again.â She has nothing to worry about as I will never support her business. My only regret was not giving the refunded money as a larger tip to the young girl working the register because this was never about the money for me. There are plenty of other great coffee shops...
Read moreSure, the coffee was ok but the service was the absolute worst I've ever experienced. If you have a family with young kids, do not bring them here because it is not a family friendly place. We left with an awful, unwanted feeling. Our very clean but enthusiastic son of 2.5 years was a bit squirmy when we came in for coffee so I held him because the barista (and owner) was busy chatting with a couple from Canada and not filling orders for a good five minutes (btw, my cousins mentioned that we were visiting from Italy and she remarked that Europeans were " just so commonplace", so I suppose that's why she wasn't friendly with us). I set my son down and he went straight to the stereo so I immediately picked him up before he could press buttons while I got a lecture from this woman cajoling me with, "you need to control your child, ma'am." When we finally got our turn to order, I hadn't decided yet and had to set him down again to look at the menu properly and my boy started touching the glass door which had lots of decals. The lady said with a snide remark, "Can I get you some windex to clean up his dirty fingerprints?" I was taken so aback that I said that I would and she just shrugged and heaved out very mean spirited "Oh forget it - what do you want?" I felt so terrible and my cousins agreed that she was probably just having an awful day - probably never had kids so obviously had no understanding whatsoever of what it is like to be a parent in need...
Read moreThere were two people ahead of me, both older women .The cashier/ Barista was an older women as well and chatted up both of the ladies in front of me, all perky and smiley. When she was assisting the last lady in front of me, they talked for over 20 minutes. I was waiting forever to order a latte. Then when it was my turn, her attitude AUTOMATICALLY turned very cold and standoffish. She didnt greet me,smile or anything. So finally I said, "hello" and asked if she had any alternatives to regular milk. she sighed and said what they had. After having a bad attitude with other questions about my order and waiting for way longer than necessary, I said , "cancel my order" and left. Being 20 years old and looking very young for my age, I seem to get a lot of disrespect from older people. It's horrid. I worked as a barista/manager at a coffee shop since I was 15. No matter what age, sex or race, you treat everyone equally and have amazing...
