Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Florence

This used to be my go-to pizza place but I don’t know what’s happened the past few months?? I guess they’re understaffed or something but that’s still no excuse for the complete lack of care and quality control.

The past few times I’ve ordered from here the pizza has either been severely undercooked, and/or super soggy to the point the toppings fall right off when you pick it up. I LOVE pizza, never get sick of it, I could eat it every day, but I honestly couldn’t finish the last one I got, it made me gag it was so undercooked (even though I ordered WELL DONE!). Even after cooking it the rest of the way in my oven, it just tasted so bad. I committed a pizza crime and threw it away lol.

I didn’t bother calling because last time, they promised me a coupon for a free pizza, they said it would be credited to my account on the app which is how I always order it. I never did get a credit for it. But honestly I don’t really care for one anyway because the quality has plummeted so bad. I’m switching...

Poor quality food. Slow service. Had issues with an order going through and being charged on my card and calling the store to ask about the 2.5 hour wait time - woman told me she couldn’t find the order and yelled at me about not being able to do anything about it, despite being charged. Then said she “voided it” and hung up on me. I called back and someone actually went through and helped void it. She straight up lied and hung up on me. Then when we ordered again, the tracker said it was ready to be picked up. Get there - order hasn’t even been made. Like this place is a joke, I swear. Even when we get the pizza, there’s almost no sauce - it’s dry as a bone, and tastes old. Like a cold pizza nobody picked up from hours earlier that they just gave us. Idk what happened to this location but...

I have had good service in the past especially when picking up from the store. However today I ordered a pizza and it came over an hour late. They offered no form of compensation for the poor service. I was put on hold for several minutes just to get information as to why it was so late and when I finally got through there was no explanation. I was simply told it would be here shortly. After that it was another half hour before we got our food. As for the quality of the food, it's generally consistent and good quality. The main problem is the staff I would say. If they trained staff better I would definitely recommend them. As of right now I am disappointed. P.s. I only live about a block away from the store. Delivery should not be...
