This is the perfect place to bring your broken/damaged electronics! It's a small shop run by a couple guys that clearly are very knowledgeable and well trained. They were able to successfully replace the keyboard on my $2600 razer laptop, and they were very upfront about how risky it was considering replacement parts are not made for razer laptops in the first place and the keyboards are hot pressed into the machines, meaning they would need to be carefully pulled from other broken machines and sold by third parties in order to even get the part. Thankfully, they were able to tell me whether or not they'd be able to order the part before agreeing to anything, and they were very quick to give me a call whenever they had updates. They also were able to give me an incredibly quick turn around time. The part came from California, and they quoted that they could have the keyboard replaced in about 5 days, depending upon shipping time, but they somehow got it done in 4 days flat. I'm still gobsmacked at how quickly they were able to do the repair, considering they would've needed to remove almost all the parts to replace the keyboard, which is already difficult enough to take out with all 20-ish screws holding it in, but they were also able to run diagnostics and tests to make sure the rest of the system was running smoothly and properly.
Overall: This is the best place I've found yet to take any faulty computers, and I'll most definitely be back should I have any more issues in the future. I didn't even mention the price either, they were able to do everything for under $200 which is far below what I'd have to pay at most other locations, and is incredibly reasonable for the work they had to do. Great job guys, and thank you for getting my mobile workstation back up...
Read moreMy computer randomly stopped working and was shooting sparks from the outlet when I was trying to troubleshoot the problem. I found PC Repair through a Google search and called them right away. Travis was very polite and professional and really seemed to know his stuff. I was able to drop it off the same day and was told I would hear back on a certain day, and he kept his word. The full computer was investigated and solutions were offered with different price points for different qualities of parts. I chose the part I wanted and Travis got it installed the same day. Due to my schedule, I picked up the computer the next day and and when I finally got around to hooking it up, I could not get HDMI output to my monitor. I called Travis and he walked me through the hook-up and found that I was trying to put the cable in the incorrect HDMI port. He also answered my further questions about computer maintenance and care. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Overall, I highly recommend his shop and will use his services for all my electronic troubles...
Read moreTravis is the Man!!! He is extremely knowledgable, honest, upfront, and professional. His services are reasonably priced, and he's very forthcoming with diy options, even at the expense of his own bottomline. Had a recent issue with my laptop which he quickly solved, in addition, I had some invaluable works saved to an old floppy disk via word processor from 2 decades ago, which I couldn't for the life of me retrieve, even using an external floppy disk reader. Within a couple days, Travis not only made them readable, he saved them onto my laptop in a nice organized folder, and at no additional charge from my laptop repair! I am eternally grateful for this! He not only saved me upwards of $175, the going rate on Ebay for a used version of my old word processor, but hours upon hours of retyping and saving those files onto my laptop. This was my second time at his shop, and I wouldn't take my laptop, smart TV, or other devices anywhere else. All in all he's saved me easily $200, not to mention quite a bit of...
