I'm excited to share our wonderful experience at Symphony Mediterranean Grill. As part of the Tarbiya Institute staff, I want to express our deep gratitude for their exceptional customer service. During our recent field trip from Kentucky's Ark Encounter back to Michigan, Symphony Mediterranean Grill exceeded our expectations in every way.
After a long day, our famished group of 50 was in dire need of a satisfying meal. Faced with limited halal options and time constraints, the restaurant stepped up to the plate. They not only facilitated an outdoor picnic but also delivered a delectable feast to a rest area just off the highway. Their timing was impeccable, aligning perfectly with our travel plans.
The menu was a true delight, featuring a variety of delectable items. The chicken shawarma was succulent and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the fragrant rice and crisp salad. The fries were golden and crispy, and the garlic and cajun sauces provided a delightful kick of flavor. The hummus was creamy and paired beautifully with the warm pita bread.
What truly sets Symphony Mediterranean Grill apart is their attentive and personalized service. They stayed on-site to ensure each member of our group was served with care and attention. This level of dedication and engagement speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction.
In summary, Symphony Mediterranean Grill elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. Their hospitable approach, culinary excellence, and attention to detail truly made our picnic memorable. We're immensely grateful for their efforts and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a remarkable...
Read moreDespite being my first visit to this restaurant, I must admit that the overall experience, particularly with the shawarma not meeting expectations, makes it unlikely for me to return. Unfortunately, the disparity in the shawarma taste and quality leaves me hesitant to revisit it in the future. The staff was amicable and attentive, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the chicken shawarma didn't quite match the traditional flavors I was expecting; it seemed more akin to chicken masala than the authentic shawarma taste I was hoping for, also the portion size was smaller than expected. The spices were different from the usual shawarma seasoning, which was a bit disappointing for someone looking for that specific flavor profile.
Although the food itself was tasty, it didn't quite match the typical shawarma experience I was anticipating.
Update: I foolishly decided to give this restaurant another try, driving 40 miles out of my way just to waste money there. To my absolute frustration, the second experience was even more of a disaster than the first—completely unacceptable! This is not shawarma. Shawarma should be freshly cut, not brought from.... and grilled again! I will never eat there again, not...
Read moreReally good and healthy food here! It was my first visit to Symphony Mediterranean Grill, which is a Middle Eastern Halal restaurant. The chicken-based menu is a great alternative to red meat and the hummus and falafel are excellent vegetarian options. I started with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. This wasn't the kind that had been sitting around, but was made on the spot from real oranges. Then I had the hummus, falafel, and pita with a tasty tahini dipping sauce. The hummus was served with real olive oil on top and the falafel was to die for, prepared just right, deliciously crispy and totally fresh. Next came the main part of the meal, which was a platter of delectable chicken shoarma, a refreshing leafy salad with cherry tomatoes and chicken, and a mouthwatering dish of rice with chicken, as well as a side dish of french fries and a garlic dipping sauce. Portions are sufficiently generous and the quality of the food is excellent. Service is attentive, helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere feels good and inviting. I will be back for sure and highly recommend the food at Symphony...
