What an racist experience I had it’s with cashier/manger Maurice so he say his name was it’s one thing to refuse business because of facts but it’s one thing to lie about the reason of refusing business imy experience was crazy I went into johns to purchase a sandwich just to try it out this my first experience ever since seeing how they bashed the owner for hunting animals I wasn’t bothered by that I actually didn’t care I was glad he was keeping average everyday people employed but this typical experience wasn’t pleasant when I had all pleasant intentions on going and supporting a local jimmy johns by giving them my business I go inside order a sandwich they was nice I give the cashier my money not gonna lie this typical ten looked a little rough but what’s a money correcting pen for so this cashier tells me my ten was fake I was shocked I asked to see the money he refused then I stated where I got the ten dollars from another business right across the street let me return the ten dollars there and if they gave me a fake money I’ll take it up with them with my receipt in hand from my previous purchase before stopping there he gives me the ten with the money being marked by his pen god behold the marker validated the point I was proving of the money being real he went on to say oh I can call the cops you gave me fake money I went on to challenge his he had a ten dollar bill freshly out his register I asked him to mark his bill he had he said no I don’t have to I began to get pissed explaining I’m no dummy every money marker marks the money the fake fake bills turn brown real turns yellow my bill was yellow from his marker he marked himself I wasn’t mad bout him not taking the money but to lie and say I gave him fake money makes me question his true reason was it bcuz if my skin was the things spoken of the owner particularly true all in I won’t recommend no one to eat at jimmy johns after...

Today was CUSTOMER APPRECIATION day where Jimmy Johns #2467 was selling $1 dollar subs per person, so my daughter and I went (its 1:30pm) we wait in the queue for our two tickets wait to order two $1.00 subs and one at regular price. There was a delay getting the subs & receipt understandably. Once I got the subs I headed home; the subs were worth the wait. I glanced at my receipt and noticed that I was charged regular price for one of the dollar subs........ok no problem I thought, I’ll just go back and get this resolved and grab another awesome BLT. I get back to the store the queue is a little longer than before spoke to employee who was going along the line informed him of the price discrepancy He advises me to let his nephew (The Proprietor) know once I get inside (the queue was out the door into the parking lot). After some time I end up with the same cashier from the initial visit advise her of the error; she gets the owner who says "like this was a hour ago (2:08) it's one per person/ticket". The Proprietor offered no concessions along with a non-apology worthy of Capitol Hill. Another employee chimed in "I remember her and her daughter coming in earlier" immediately he (The employee) was taken to the side and admonished. After which The Proprietor just walked away... I guess he had to get back to delivering his stellar customer service. That really irked me, delivering customer satisfaction is my field, and I guess Customer Appreciation day was just a marketing stunt from corporate since it appears they have no metrics to verify the awesome mediocrity. I've purchased from this location dozens of times prior; the proprietor, insouciant attitude soured me to the location perhaps even the brand I won't be returning....
