Staff easy to work with. Many possibilities for events. My original post was from 2 years ago. It was a 5 star. Although I do think the location in back of the museum has many great potentials for events, it saddens me to see it is not properly being cleaned or maintained. Floors were disgustingly dirty. The bathrooms did not have napkins and the stool doors were practically falling off. The dust was thick and was falling down from the ceiling. There were nails, staples, clips, and all kinds of other adhering objects on the wall. For a location with rich history, they need to do a better job at preserving this treasure.

What a cool, old building! Reminded me of my grandparent's house - original wood floors and all. A gentleman greeted us on the porch and offered to give us a tour. He had restored an old phonograph - the kind you see in old movies and he played it for us in the front room. Wow - that was really cool. We got to see a lot of tools and neat devices in the kitchen and in the work room. Upstairs is a child's bedroom and schoolroom. The authenticity of all the items was like step back in time. A very special treat. Go if you get the chance, as they don't seem to be open...

When I first saw the Florida Pioneer Museum on Google maps, I had a feeling that this is going to be the historic place in Florida. I explored it upstairs and downstairs. Even the guide had shown me and my parents the Phonograph as it played great. Plus, the dining room and kitchen was a classic scene even the area upstairs feels nostalgic. There's even a little gift shop to shop for Books, DVDs, Postcards, Magnets and even Flagler Museum Souvenirs. I am happy that it is part of South Florida's attractions. When I want more DVDs to buy there, I will be happy to come...
