When I first drove by 3 Baristas, I didn’t stop—and I couldn’t quite say why. But then a former employee—someone I used to manage—told me, “I’ve been adopted by a Bulgarian family.” That piqued my interest, so I finally checked it out. After visiting, I understood what I had been missing.
This isn’t just a coffee shop. It’s a place where you’re genuinely welcomed, where people care, and where quality runs deep. The owners, Dimitri and Vania, bring decades of experience and passion to what they do. They roast beans in-house and offer a rotating global selection, each cup reflecting their dedication to doing it right.
As a farmer with experience working with coffee plants in places like Hawaii, Jamaica, and Costa Rica, I deeply appreciate the science and artistry behind coffee. Dimitri’s passion for the bean, from origin and roast to brewing methods and flavor profiles, is impressive. Over the past year, I’ve learned more about coffee just by coming here than I ever expected.
They also serve a variety of homemade treats, most of which are lovingly prepared by their mother. From sandwiches, muffins, and baklava to apple strudel (my personal favorite), or European specialty items, the flavors feel like they’ve been passed down through generations. The sandwich bread is locally sourced, and there are always delicious vegan options available, which I appreciate. They also offer smoothies, teas, and specialty coffee drinks.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or settling in for a while, it’s the kind of place that makes space for you. Even if there’s a line, the care, warmth, and quality are always worth the wait.
Over time, we’ve become friends, and that says everything. I haven’t encountered another business like this, simply because of how giving and genuinely caring they are.
I’m lucky to have found 3 Baristas. Now...
Read moreI stopped in for the first time, I’m 9 months pregnant and yes I consume caffeine on occasion. I haven’t slept in two nights and I have two other kids I’m about to pick up from school, I saw their sign for the nutmeg cold brew so I went to the counter and tried to order it.
The man looked me up and down a couple times, and then slowly said, “Ok I can make that decaf for you if you’d like?” So I politely said, “No thank you, I could use the caffeine.” He replied in a concerned tone, “Ok I can make that for you, and over there in the cooler I have some waters, you may have one free of charge. Caffeine can be very dehydrating you know, for you and the baby.”
I felt extremely judged and couldn’t believe he was trying to tell me what’s best for me and my baby. I decided to walk out and not complete my order. Very disappointed and I’m not one to leave reviews, but after looking up their page and seeing all the raving reviews, I figured I’d let other pregnant women to not go here unless you want to be told what to do. Will be telling all my...
