I had a horrible experience! I came into the store on one occasion and saw a used sofa that I liked. The price was more than I wanted to spend for a used piece so I asked if it was negotiable. The representive at the store explained that the sofa had just come in and for that reason they could not negotiate. I smiled and accepted that very reasonable explanation. After waiting for about 2 weeks, I called back to see if that same sofa was still available. The gentleman on the phone told me that it was and that the price could be negotiated at this point. I came into the store 2 days later to do just that. Upon entering the store I found a second sofa that was also of interest. Ultimately I tried to negotiate price on both. They were only willing to reduce the sofa by $40 and then, when I communicated that I wasn't thrilled with either with either offer or the difference in the tone that I received over the phone verses in person,, they occused men of being mean and refused to consider consigning the furniture (my furniture ) that they'd already agreed to consider. For the record I did not in any way say or do anything inappropriate. There was no insulting language of any kind. The "offensive" behavior that was sited was the fact that I had first asked if there was a contact number for the gentleman with whom I'd spoken earlier in the week and then proceeded to call the number provided from the store. They were particularly offended because I sat down to call. I'm puzzled as to why that was a problem. In the end I agreed to pay their price for the sofa but they were so rude to me that I changed my mind. I found EXACTLY what I was looking for, with even a couple of notable contenders. The price was good too, EXACTLY what I was aiming to spend ($200ish). They offered multiple shipping options. I elected to try fitting it in my sedan. Two employees cheerfully carried it out. They succeeded in playing god-tier Tetris with my backseat while being mindful of not damaging anything. I walked through the entire store again, no one asked if I needed help. He was too busy on the phone. Finally I left the store. And again I didn't get a thank you for stopping, have a great day, nothing. He was busy on the phone. How rude of that man, I will never visit that establishment again.
