Wawa — Restaurant in Stuart

I'm here a lot because it's right between work and home. The cashiers are always nice and friendly but the kitchen staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. Consistently. So often that I try to avoid getting food here at all costs to the point where I've just skipped lunch many times because that sounds better than interacting with them and possibly waiting 20 minutes for a sandwich.

Today was no different. They called my order number once and I assumed it was for pickup. I figured I'd head that way after I paid. Then, a few seconds later they're repeatedly SCREAMING it. So I stepped out of the line I was already waiting 5 minutes in and walk up and tell them my number since they didn't make eye contact or acknowledge me while just standing there, eventhough they were literally just screaming for someone. The younger girl finally looked right at me but refused to speak to me, the older lady told me the ticket didn't print properly. I tried to tell her what I'd ordered as it was quite simple. She cut me off and screamed I had to reorder. At that point I was really over it and definitely wasn't going to interact with them any more that day so I skipped lunch and paid for what I had and left.

Today, since I was still craving it I thought I'd give it another shot. Took forever but I wasn't yelled at. When I went to pick up I thanked the same younger chick from yesterday and she rolled her eyes to the back of her head. If she hates her job so much why even work there?. Or maybe it's a race thing. Idk. But it makes it really uncomfortable to go there.

And these are just a few examples of the types of people that work there.

If you order food be fully prepared to get treated like garbage and possibly get yelled at. Bitterness and hate just ozzes out of a few of them. Do not...

Let me start by saying 1 thing if Cody isn't is charge at the wawa located at 2401 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994 he's needs a raise and a promotion! I made a mistake of redeeming 1000 of my hard earned points @ 2:10 for a pizza and a bonus promotion both of which are unavailable before 4 pm(which in my opinion is an app mistake ) I immediately rushed to the register where they informed me nothing they can do app wise and to ask Cody? Cody stopped what he was doing at the register AND MADE MY PIZZA HIMSELF!!! In the short time I was in the store I observed him helping in all aspects of the store. Helping customers find items Cash wrap on top of making my pizza. He really made everyone feel seen including his coworkers amidst all the chaos. Do you want to wait forever for mediocre food? If the answer to this question it's a YES then you've found the place! Imagine if Disney World and Walmart had an ugly child... you get to wait in line to put your order and you get the wait in line again. God help you if you make an order of more than one sandwich, if so, then you'll be passed by everybody came in after you for about 10 to 15 minutes. They will not make your entire order immediately and you will be passed over for single orders.

Don't get me wrong, the employees are nice, but so are the receptionists at dentist offices when you're getting a root canal. Not sure where this form of organization came from, but there is a reason why the lines are a lot longer than they should be. I don't plan on wasting my time again...
