EDIT:

I changed my review to 5 stars based on owner’s reply and willingness to fix any issue. I appreciate a business who cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to keep them. The ingredients were great and I have no doubt that our next experience will not have the same issues as the first.

Last night we ordered a med pizza and chargrilled Buffalo wings to-go.

When we got home we realized there was so much sauce when we picked up a slice all of the cheese and toppings slipped off. (Only 1 topping on 1/2 and 2 on the other).

It was a shame bc the taste was definitely there. The dough, sauce and toppings all tasted really well was just difficult to eat.

The wings were sweet to my surprise. I looked at the receipt to make sure they were Buffalo - which they were but it also said “mild”. I didn’t order mild - had I known I wouldn’t have ordered them or maybe ordered a diff flavor.

The employee on the phone who took my order was very nice and picking up was pleasant, but definitely wished we knew about the sweetness in the sauce and wished the pizza cheese and toppings stayed...

My son and I had the opportunity to eat at The Pizza Gene yesterday and we were not disappointed. The pizza is fantastic - the pizza body is not dripping with sauce but the right amount. It reminded me of our time in Naples and Rome, Italy. The crush was light and chewy and didn’t feel like a brick in your stomach afterward. We had cheese, pepperoni, and chicken/bacon/ranch (CBR) pizza and they all came out great. The pizzas are premade and then heated up in their state of the art ovens. I Love it!! We also tried the wings- a 10 pc with five glats and five drums. We went with the mild buffalo sauce and they were cooked to perfection. Not overly done and too crispy and the sauce was overwhelming, which is nice as I don’t like making a mess when eating my wings. Lastly, as TPG are in a soft opening with a limited menu, their staff are learning, but we’re kind, courteous, and a pleasure to speak too. We met Pat- I think the owner. He and his team are doing a great job. Keep up the great work. I really hope they thrive here in the Stuart/Palm City area.

We are fans and we...

It was my first time trying the Pizza Gene pizza so I went with something kind of middle of the road just to start with. I ordered a medium with sausage and pepperoni, light sauce, and charred. It was so good that now I’m going to try some of their specialty pizzas. My favorite thing is that you can order it “charred” which is a very tasty way to have pizza! It’s not burned…just, well…charred In all the right places, a couple of great big charred dough bubbles too! It tastes very yummy and East Coast like! I did not go inside so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but outside it was very clean and attractive. It was easy to order and pay online, then simply drive through and pick it up. The Pizza was ready exactly when I had requested it and the attendant at the drive-through was friendly and efficient. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend! Plus, I’ll be back very soon… And especially looking forward to trying those...

After having a poor delivery experience, the owner Pat invited us in to try their pizza again. He is very enthusiastic about food and was an amazing host. We ate pizza, wings, garlic knots, and fried dough. The garlic knots were really good! We tried the wings charred since I'd never had them that way before, but it wasn't my favorite way to have them so I'll try them without char next time. The pizza was much better this time, no complaints. He let me try a slice of pizza with a white sauce on top and I wish I could remember what it was called because it was so good and could possibly be a new favorite pizza topping. My daughter who loves all things fried and pizza was in heaven. One of my daughters wasn't feeling well and we got a pizza to go and Pat put a get well message in the pizza box. Pat, thank you for convincing us to try your good again and for being such a great host.

What a fantastic addition to the area. Today I had the pleasure of going inside to pickup our order.. I've done pickup with their online system & convenient drive thru window. The Ritz Roni was the first I tried & the only so far..as it's so amazing. Today's visit we met Pat the owner who was very welcoming & even gave us some insight to their dough fermentation process as well as discuss their upcoming specialty pies to look out for. I wish Pat & the whole Pizza Gene Team much success! They're a new regular in our local restaurant rotations. *Pics taken hour after bought extra to have leftovers:)

Paid 25 bucks for the pizza and left a five dollar tip for carry out and the pizza didn’t have the pepperoni that we ordered. That part was a bummer and ruined the experience a bit… the pizza did taste good, even without the pepperoni but dang… it should’ve been there. I wonder if The Pizza Gene will make it right? Hope so. UPDATE: Owner set things straight. They were just super busy due to it being the first Friday with full menu. Can't wait to try it with pepperoni soon. Thank you Pizza Gene!
