Poppleton Creek Dog Park — Attraction in Stuart

This is nice little dog park located in south central Stuart between US-1 and Kanner Hwy on Central Parkway. There are fenced areas for large and small dogs as well as a small lake you can walk your dog around if you don't wish to socialize with other dogs. There is a temptation to let your dog run free while walking around the lake but remember you must have complete control of your dog at all times in this park and If you can't leash them back up at a moment's notice you are risking a dog fight or an attack from an alligator that sometimes can be found patrolling this lake. Its best to keep your dog leashed at all times while at this park, to avoid a major catasrophe. It's also interesting to note that the lake in this park is utilized by a RC model sailing club composed of mostly retired men for races and regattas. Great Dog Park. 100% of the dogs are as friendly as they come, & about 90% of the people are too, funny but SO TRUE! I bring my buddy Luke Dog there almost every morning. He has an absolute blast. The only time I've seen it, where no one is there, is if it's raining of course.... No one enjoys that wet dog smell..... Great facilities over all there though. Clean bathrooms, good size pavilion & picnic area. TIP: Its a real nice walk around the man made Lake that they have there. Oh, & your dogs are allowed to go swimming in the lake as well. They basically have free rein of the place. Which is the way it should...

Really loved it clean and friendly. Has section for small dogs and a section for large dogs. The people are nice and watch their dogs. They all clean up after their dogs. It was a really great day for my princess! She loved it and loves to meet other dogs. Thank PSL clean nice..... Becarefull with the lake in the back read the signs....
