Antojitos Mexicanos Tenorio — Restaurant in Florida

Authentic Mexican food claims gets thrown around just as often as "NY style pizza" and very few restaurants deliver on that promise, but Antojitos does, EVERYTIME. From the tortilla that they use to the hand made guac, all the way down to the perfectly structure burrito without any additional ridiculous ingredients.

I've been coming to this location for well over a year now and I can confidently say that whenever I have an itch for Mexican food, this is my go to spot. The prices are extremely reasonable given the level of quality of their food, the service is incredible, and its owned by a very nice local family. They are constantly working hard to make sure everything person that steps through that door is satisfied.

I recently ordered for delivery and the food tasted just as good as if I were eating it there in person. I ended up ordering a carne asada burrito which was compact and miraculously not falling apart like most burritos do. The cheese was oozing out of the burrito as I stretched them apart and the internal structure of the burrito was compartmentalized in a way that only a master architect can accomplish. It was just beautiful.

I also ordered a side of guac(THIS IS A MUST, And usually sells out quickly) with chips which was fantastic! The chips stay crunchy in every bite, and the guac was fresh and limey that only a true authentic Mexican restaurant can master that balance.

Overall, if you are looking to try REAL Mexican food, and experience an explosion of flavors that your mouth has been asking for a long time, come check them out. You...

I'm all for supporting small business, but small business should want to help themselves as well. With that being said I've frequented this location many times as well as their original location. I called on Friday 4/24 and phone was busy...called back a few minutes later same thing...I finally got through and a young guy answer just HELLO... I second guessed if I was calling the right place and I said...hi is this the restaurant...he says YEA...😶 I'm dumbfounded at these responses. I said can I order very hesitant and get a nonchalant response..." Yea what do you want" I started ordering and once I hang up I tell my family what happened. I processed everything and called right back.. He answered immediately this time..I said cancel my order. Not sure why I was treated that way or if I caught him at a " annoyed" time but I don't appreciate being treated as a bother especially when right now everyone is struggling financially. You as the business and me as the customer. You need money and I have limited money to share, so appreciate what comes your way. Okay si let's just start with this , this was my favorite mexican spot in kendall , great food but I had to change my review and here is why. I've ordered threw Uber eats twice already and both times Im missing half of the order, I don't know if the Uber driver is keeping half or you guys aren't paying attention to what customers are ordering. It's so sad to see how you guys have such good food but can't get a order correct , my best opinion to anyone is don't order threw Uber eats , order and pick up yourself so you can check your order. I order 60$ worth of food and got 20$ of food delivered it's RIDICULOUS to see the poor customer service from the restaurant. I have to really think three times before ordering again from this place.
