Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Florida

They don’t even deserve a 1 star. 0 stars if able. This Applebees has always been a go-to and I’m currently sitting here waiting for the waitress to pick up my cash payment since I don’t like to leave cash pay on table unless it’s a tip tucked away… upon arrival we needed to wait 15-20 mins, understandable. Then had to make contact with host as we saw another table sat before us. Finally we’re seated, I’m told a sauce for the tenders is out at the last minute; by this time I get my pasta, it’s cold… ok. Proceeded to ask for dipping sauce and Parmesan cheese, the waitress takes someone’s else’s order and you’d think she’d come back, no. I was not even offered a refill for my drink nor did she make it back to ask how the food was. She only came back to ask about mozzarella sticks which was the appetizer… disappeared since then. I had to wait another 15 minutes to eat what was already cold. Reluctant to be there any further, ask for the check. In which why are the self pay kiosk removed if you guys aren’t going to come back and pick up payments in a timely manner????? Received the check at 6:45PM, it’s now 7:28PM.. please in what employee handbook, training, manual is that EVERY okay to leave a customer waiting??? Ask for something and have to wait another additional 10-15 mins… This was the WORST experience ever. I’d like to know who the franchise manager/owner is because this was by far the worst experience ever. I hope our waitress finally came around to pick up our check and undeserved tip as we had no way of getting back our change, and did not just have donated $80! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! No customer should Have to chase down anyone! What kind of service is that ??...

I would have given five stars for the food I received on taste. Their fish was terrific. The steak was pretty good, it was tender juicy and cooked perfectly. the coleslaw however wasn't very good it had cilantro in it which is disgusting and coleslaw. their chips and salsa I think to each their own but I thought it was delicious. As far as the shrimp it was the spicy shrimp and it was pretty good for a frozen shrimp if you like that sort of thing. It was loaded with all sorts of spices and it wasn't overcooked. Chicken tenders were kind of small but they were decent. The mashed potatoes were kind of not-so-good and a french fries were skimpy. I didn't try the french fries because I didn't get mine that come on one platter. The coleslaw come on one platter. And no mashed potatoes come on one platter. I didn't get my side items my husband didn't get his side items in my son didn't get his side items at set for coleslaw and which I ate Sadly I ordered through Uber. And we didn't get any of our food hardly. Every side item was missing except for one dish. And when I called the speak to the manager a girl that was working there was so rude and so pathetic no wonder the order was wrong. She hung up on me she was difficult. and it's very annoying when you're already upset the deal with somebody that has no brain. I can't hardly even understand her her English was terrible. They need to get rid of the people work in there that was working there tonight. Good service is important it isn't just how good the food is. But if they get rid of all these sorry people they have working there I would suggest...

I order 2 for 2. Caesar salad and bacon cheeseburger. My son ordered too. At some point when I was eating my last big green leaf of my salad, the truth was uncovered. I saw in the remaining of the little portion of salad left in the plate, this repulsive, gewy, looking brown blob form, piece of food with too hard sticks coming out of it 🤢. I separated the 2 sticks apart nastly investigating feeling. The second thought 🤔 nasty dirty kitchen counters and ?????. My son had stain outside of the plate 🤢 and the bottom outside has cheese. The manager Manny Rivas explained that he was in the back of the kitchen area cleaning dishes and helping with other tasks, because he is short staff, that he is unknown to the kitchen's cleanliness and food handling. Wow Manny, but you just told me you are in the kitchen doing tasks, because you are short staff. When I also show the raw looking bacon, he was quite, and did not comment about that. The manager is the same as the employees, and the employee does what is allowed to do when the manager is not doing his job. My son that order too has a health condition sickle cell anemia, with a weak immune system. Think about that next time you allow nastiness in the restaurant; Manny and Applebee's.
