Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Florida

Worst experience eating at a restaurant that I have had in a very long time. First red flag was the question of "table or booth" we replied "table" but then was lead to a booth... no biggie, easy fix... but then we sat there for a while, watching other people be seated and place drink orders... which we have yet to do. I finally reach out to someone passing us to prompt someone to attend to our table. At this point we were annoyed but willing to still give the restaurant a chance.. mistakes happen... we finally ended up with Stephanie... we ordered the endless special of mix and match ribs, boneless wings, or crunch shrimp. Our first order arrived correctly even tho we had to remind Stephanie several times for ranch. I got the shrimp, my fiancé got the ribs... both were awful. We attempted to try the other options while staying optimistic about each choice made. We stayed friendly and patient during the entire experience while also trying really hard not to take it personally that each time we ordered our food, only mine would come to the table. We both ordered boneless wings, mine would come hers didnt... AT ALL. So we tell Stephanie this and try again. I ordered the hot Buffalo, and once again my fiance ordered the regular Buffalo since it never came the first time... once again mine came, hers did not. Stephanie was not overly busy but seemed to have trouble concentrating, I asked for a refill on my unsweet tea (something she clearly was not going to do on her own) and she brought me a Pepsi... the food was awful, the service was horrible... I still gave Stephanie a 15% tip, because I actually felt bad for her, if she actually keeps her job, it won't matter since the restaurant is doomed to fail eventually. I will never go to this location or any...

I took my family out for dinner tonight at Applebee's Wesley chapel. We were seated quickly. Got to the table sat 15 min before our server introduced herself. To be fair they had her running across the restaurant to other tables. I had ordered a spooky drink draculas blood. It sat on the bar for 15 minutes before my wife and I walked up to the bar. The bartender was awesome and offered right away to make a fresh one. Got back to the table. 20 minutes go by still no server. Youngest is hungry and getting impatient finally service. Got the bread sticks with Alfredo dipping sauce was very fresh and awesome, chicken wonton tacos had no flavor at all and was not worth the money spent, mozzarella sticks were super cheesy and fresh.. for the main courses. One oriental chicken salad was very good and greens were fresh, dressing was all at bottom but all good. 4 cheese Mac n cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders. Chicken breading was over done and crunchy and not a ay. Chicken was moist inside. The pasta dish was not full of flavor and was super disappointed. A chicken tender platter was gotten. Again breading was super crunchy moist inside with french fries. French fries were hard no flavor at all not even potato flavor. Cheese burger looked really good but meat was super dry but had fresh veggies on it. 8oz steak sirloin medium rare was right on point and flavored right. Mashed potatoes and broccoli. Mashed potatoes bad no flavor and dry like eating cotton balls and broccoli was very hard I thought it was supposed to be steamed. Overall I would say we will not be going back to this one. So... I am not a boomer... I'd prefer people smoke weed than drink. That being said... We came in Sunday the 19th about 4 pm. Maybe 3 customers in the restaurant. The host was at the bar talking to someone. She after about 2 minutes, acknowledged us... we sat and waited for over 10 minutes..... Again, literally 3 or 4 other customers in restaurant. No wait, staff, no bartender, anywhere. The store was empty, save for the hosted back at the bar talking to another patron. We waited a total of about 12 minutes. All at once every waiter and bartender came out from the back together. As our waiter approached, my 12 year old daughter said, if this isn't our waiter, can we leave? As he approached, the stench of weed was over powering. Burning my eyes, yes.. I don't smoke... and fave me that weird feeling on my tongue. As it did my daughter. It was terrible. And not just because I'm not a smoker.. she even laughed about how strong the odor was. Agian.. I prefer people smoke for many reasons... health.. recreational... But it has to be on your own time.. I should have to subject my daughter nor myself to that skunk, whom ate an eraser being burned.. we don't allow people to be drunk at work. I WOULD THINK not being high would also fall into that category. There is a reason, nearly every restaurant around ....Including the chilli's that was skipped.. to be slam paked and your establishment to barely have anyone in it. We paid and left a 22 or 25% tip.. but will not be back.. As the empty parking lot should have been...
