I cannot believe the horrible service I receive here over and over again. Tonight was the last straw. I pulled into the drive thru at 9:48pm, aware they close at 10pm. I started my order with a Reeses cup sundae. The associate in the drive thru paused a minute and then said, "well we just, like, pulled the ice cream out of the freezer. And it's like super hard." Ok...and? Then she said, "but I can try to like scoop it out for you, if you really want it." Ummm, are you serious? So your telling me, as a customer, that you actually have the ingredients to make the order (Which is rare for this location), yet youd rather not make the order because it's going to be difficult for you? I almost laughed at the audacity! As a cook myself, when were open...we are open. There's no cutting corners, you make the orders your given until closing time. The customer doesn't care about what's going on in the kitchen, and for an associate to tell a customer that it's inconvenient for them is totally unacceptable. I just drove away before I said anything i would regret. Oh and they totally botched my son's ice cream birthday cake a few months back They were supposed to write Happy Birthday Mason with #4 next to it...we got an ugly H.B. and a scary looking alligator. They literally have no idea hiw to read an order form. We didn't go back and complain to the manager because we were running late for his birthday plans and they wouldn't have been able to fix it then and there anyway.    Read moreI've been to Baskin & Robins since I was living in Utah. Whenever possible, we'd stop by the ice cream shop to "enjoy" the flavors we loved. I moved to Florida, and after a few days, we did some research to see if we'd be able to enjoy the flavors we were used to again. We went to the Davenport store. We arrived around 1:15 PM. Four or five employees were cleaning. We spent about five minutes looking around, checking out the flavors and the place in general. They pretended not to see us. After a while (about four minutes), they started talking quietly among themselves to see who would "maybe" serve us. It was TOTAL disorganization. Literally everything was upside down. There were no cones ready for the ice cream. None of the organization we knew from previous franchises. We left without even being spoken to, or possibly explaining that they couldn't serve us at that moment, or any other attention or justification. WE WERE SIMPLY IGNORED. If a dog had come in, they might have grabbed it and taken it out, but they turned a blind eye to us. We will NEVER return. I wholeheartedly suggest that if the owner is truly interested in the success of their establishment, they URGENTLY change their staff.    Read moreThis was an unpleasant experience. They didn't have any of the items we went there to get. Employee said they are short staffed. Don't tell a customer that. When I went to pay, they wanted to charge me an extra $4 for a cake. Told her the price marked on the cake box is what I want to pay.She said the price on the box is wrong. What??? Then a plop of hot fudge is $2. About the size of a quarter. After getting upset with her, she charged me the price on the box. This trip that was supposed to be a little treat for me and granddaughter turned into total frustration. Employee was rude and short tempered with me. After checking me out, she quickly left and disappeared. I have 3 items I need to get out to my vehicle. I wanted a bag. So another guy comes to the cash register. I ask him for a bag. He says move out of the way so I can check out this other person. I told him I am checked out. I just need a bag. Told me again to move so he can check out this other person. So rude. Never got the bag. Fumbled with my items and left. Who owns this place? Because your employees rude and extremely bad customer service are losing you customers.
