My wife and I stopped for lunch. The place was mostly empty and we got seated right away. 26 minutes later my wife had to flag down a server just to order drinks. She says āsorry, Iām new and still learningā ....so give her a break, right? No worries, we ask for a drink menu, since she forgot to give us one when we sat down. Ten minutes later she comes back... without the menu. A bit frustrating but... we can figure out what we want to drink without a menu, right? So I ask āwhat beer do you have on tap? ..... silence.... she looks over her shoulder at the bar across the room... blank look on her face... looks back at me... still silent. So I ask ādo you have Lagunitasā... more silence. Another server walked up about then and our server stopped her and asked, ādo we have laga...laga....ā looking at me.... āwhat was it you wanted again?ā. So itās going to be one of those days is it? I patiently asked the other server the same question which she promptly answers and we quickly sort out the drink situation. They both walk away. Didnāt ask if we were ready to order or if we wanted anything else. No worries weāre not in a hurry. Another 5 minutes passes and out comes my beer, without my wifeās drink! Boom, beer on the table as she dashes by. Another 5 minutes later the other server finally brought my wife her drink. We enjoy our drinks as we wait.... and wait.... and wait. I guess we shouldnāt be surprised, she did have three whole tables to serve! Finally having waited long enough we once again flag down our server and ask if we can order. āAbsolutely!ā She says! Our fault, I guess.......we should have asked sooner. We order an appetizer and our meal at the same time, as we didnāt want to have to flag her down a third time. A few minutes later our appetizer and meals come out .....at the same time.... because why not? The food was rather tasty so that went well, until I realized we had no condiments, because..... COVID.... thank you pandemic! Also only one set of silverware. Because..... well I donāt know... environmental consideration I like to think. No worries weāll do our part to save the planet. We split the single set of silverware and forged ahead undaunted. Then we flag down our server.... for the third time.... and ask for catchup and a couple glasses of water. 20 minutes later she returns... you guessed it.... no catchup and no water. Weāve mostly finished our meal anyway. Luckily the appetizer had a rather tasty aioli sauce that was better than catchup. She asks if we want dessert and we respond no thank you. Not sure how long that would take and we were getting quite thirsty, since... you know.... the whole no water thing. So she says she can run our credit card right there. I stop eating and pull out my card. She runs it, I tip her and sign the pad, at which point she picks up my plate, with my unfinished burger, and starts to walk away with it. Well, to be honest I really didnāt need the calories... but.... I ask her if she minds if I finish my meal, and she returns my plate, so allās well that ends well I suppose.
Update... I received a response to my review from the owner. Very nice email with a sincere apology and an offer of a gift certificate so I can give them an opportunity to improve the quality of their service. In the email the owner asked that I send an email to an address they provided. I appreciate the effort and would love to give them a second try. Only one problem, the email address provided is...

So, why the low rating well over the past few months we have seen and experienced what a decrease in all of the stuff I just mentioned. It is getting bad! This is a corporate owned beefs and should be much better. The staff needs a clean up the management needs a clean up and need to come out of the office and help! The other night we sat at our table for just under 20 mins it was 19:42 mins to be exact when I started timing before someone took our drink order their were a total of 5 tables occupied in the whole restaurant and the table behind me was just as frustrated trying to pay their bill to leave. When we saw the female manager constantly coming out to get herself a drink and then head to her hole in the office. We were stuck with 1 server , 1 bar tender and 1 hostess at dinner time in a weekend. When asked what was going on we were told that they have minors as cooks and they were the only ones working not sure why that mattered I just wanted someone to serve us, acknowledging us and get our drink order which should happen in less than 2 mins. One employee was already over her scheduled time. This is just one example of how it has been lately. The one server was having to change TVs for patrons and that held her up coming to me....why was the manager not doing that and allowing the server to serve tables? Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered through Uber Eats. Food came delivered quickly and on time but restaurant left out tortilla shells for fajitas and sent wrong side for cheese steak sandwich. Sandwich was cold when I went to eat it. Called immediately after delivery and girl that answered said I specifically remember writing in extra tortilla shells and was equally frustrated and asked me to hold to get the manager. She returned to the phone to advise the manager is in the back cooler but she was advised have to tell me to contact Uber Eats or come to restaurant. I canāt go to restaurant which is why I ordered Uber. Contacted Uber they offered a $5 credit which doesnāt help me. So I had to go to work tonight with no meal. I understand if your order doesnāt get delivered on time etc but when it is a wrong order that is not Uberās problem itās the restaurants because the drivers canāt open the food to check the order. Iām so frustrated I probably wonāt be patronizing this Beefās or using Uber anymore. I understand mistakes happen but itās the customer service that brings back return guests. Disappointed in both. Iām not expecting something I didnāt pay for just what I ordered.
