I will never step my foot in this place ever again. It is the most disorganized place I've ever been. First, you have to serve yourself, pick up your drink in the fridge and your food in the counter and when it's time to pay the bill, you have to remember everything you consumed because they don't even have the common sense to open a tab for you. When it's busy, the owner, instead of helping, serving, organizing tables to help customers, chats with friends and family who come there to chat. Meanwhile, his wife is killing herself cooking for customers. And I'm not the only one who comments on this, several people have said this about this place. You have to clean your table, if you need a bigger table, you have to put the tables together and pray to God that there are enough chairs because the owner keeps chatting with his friends and doesn't care about the customers. This owner forgets that we are in America and here customer service keeps customers. It is a shame, this owner is destroying his business. Answer to the wife: Madam, I didn't complain about the food you cook, on the other hand, customers don't go to your establishment to fit your heart, they go to eat, regardless of whether it's a bakery, a fast food place or a restaurant, If you are not organized, you cannot deliver the service. People come to your business to eat and relax and, thanks to your disorganization, they leave stressed. Your husband is a disgrace as a business owner, lazy and preoccupied with chatting with the patricians. Any organized business, even a small one, can provide good customer service, you can't. Sorry but criticism is hear...
Read moreAfter seeing the great reviews I decided to give this place a shot. Absolute worse experience I ever had in a restaurant. I simply ordered one item for $6 and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. They told me it would take 5 to 10 minutes - ended up taking over 40 minutes. They were not busy. They are all caught up chatting with each other and ignoring me. After asking them many times about my order they kept hushing me by saying "only 1 more minute" 30 times! They were rude and acted like they were disgusted by my presence simply because I am not from Lebanon. The food itself was disgusting and was barely warm after waiting so long. I ended up throwing it all away after my first bite. I would highly recommend going somewhere else other than this hole in the wall establishment where they act like they are kings and queens and the rest of the world are their mere peasants. If I did not know better I wouod simply think they were racist against me and insisted on giving me bad service because they do not care to serve people of my race. Horrible service, terrible food and an overall complete waste of my time, money and effort. Never again will I go to this establishment and I highly advise you do not go either. Also I forgot to mention the roaches I saw outside of the backdoor while I was waiting...
Read moreI recently visited a bairut bakery and exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, the standout feature of this restaurant was the food.
The lamb sandwich was the star of the show. The meat was cooked to perfection and was well-seasoned. The bread was fresh and soft, and the toppings added just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the lamb. The mouhamara and hummus were both outstanding. The mouhamara was a unique and flavorful experience, while the hummus was creamy, perfectly balanced with garlic and lemon, and a delight to the senses.
The meat sfiha was a hit, with its light, flaky pastry and juicy, flavorful meat filling. Finally, the labneh plate was a perfect way to end the meal. The thick and creamy labneh, tangy and delicious, paired perfectly with the warm pita bread. The addition of olives and cucumber added a refreshing note.
In summary, this restaurant is a must-visit. The food, service, and ambiance all exceed expectations, and I cannot wait to return and try more of their...
