Billy's Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

We stopped in for breakfast yesterday Thursday 12/6/18 around 11:30ish it was "steady" but not overly busy. We were seated at a half cleaned table which was sticky and proceeded to wait over 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. When we were "finally" spoken toit wasn't "hi my name is...and I'll be your server today or can I get you something to drinkhow about some hot fresh coffee..." our server "server #4" according to our check~no name was given to us, legitimately snapped at us and said "what do you want to drink..?!" We gave her our drink order and she just walked off & said nothing. When we finally received our coffee she dropped both cups off at our table, walked away, said nothing not even taking our order. We then proceeded to sit & wait another 15 minutes our server hadn't returned, our order still hadn't been taken and both of our coffee cups were completely empty.. Meanwhile beside us, 2 other tables of customers had been seated "after us" in another servers section, my Husband & I watched as they were immediately greeted, coffee and waters were brought to both tables, both tables placed their orders and by the time our server "FINALLY" made it back to us, one of the other tables in the section beside us were already eating and the other server was in the process of delivering the 2nd table's food by the time our server finally completed "taking our order.." We ordered nothing spectacular eggs, pancakes, sausage, homefries & my meal came with a biscuit. After our server walked away with our order in hand, I decided to keep track of time so I set the "time tracker" on my phone.. Our server wandered around with our order in hand for 7 minutes & 43 seconds before it was turned into the kitchen. From the kitchen to our table was an astounding 35 minutes & 18 seconds.. To add insult to injury the biscuit which was delivered to mewas burnt "black".. The biscuit was on a plate WITH MY OTHER FOOD and when I brought it to the attention of our server, she literally reached down with her BARE HAND and removed it from my plate of food.. 😡 😡 😡 Oh and by the way..our coffee cups STILL remained empty. When it came time to cash out we were asked "sweetly" about our food & service but as soon as my Husband and I voiced our experiencethe attitude & mood changed and our concerns, thoughts & feelings were completely dismissed..we weren't even told sorry, thank you, goodbye, NOTHING...! THE ONLY THING WHICH WAS SAID TO US WAS "DID YOU WANT TO LEAVE A TIP ON YOUR CARD..?" REALLY....?!!? I MEAN SERIOUSLY..??!! I wanted to give you the opportunity to read our horrific experience as well as correct the issue(s) at hand.. Out of 5 stars 🌟 we rate our complete experience at a "negative -2 .." I (we've) voiced our feelings about the whole scenario ... what's yours..?...

Horrible experience yesterday from a server named Shauna who didn't even take our order but decided on her own to berate us for at least 10 minutes. We arrived at Billy's a little after 12 P.M and waited 20 minutes for a table, we were seated and our server(don't know her name), took our drink order only....but had to come back for the food. Ten minutes later I gave the simple order....scrambled eggs and home fries for both of us. In the next 1/2 hr. we watched 3 couples who were standing behind us in line now seated and already eating and we're still waiting for food.We kept seeing the server walking by us with plates of food and not even looking at us or asking if I need a coffee refill. I got a refill from someone else and starting a granola bar with my coffee. My wife finally got up to ask our server how much longer it will be, she replied it should be soon. About 5 minutes later our food comes out cold and bread barely toasted, the server gave us 3 different reasons for the delay.We were still polite to her and never raised our voice. A few minutes later SHAUNA comes over and asks my wife if there is a problem with the service, she said yes that we see other couples near us who sat down down 15 mins. after us were eating so i asked our server very nicely about the delay. Well......Shauna starts berating my wife very loudly that she upset the server and the problem was with the cooks, this young "lady" was totally out of control and would not listen to reason. We r like family here that the server is new and her feelings r hurt. I said she served us about 3 months ago and the same thing happened.This went on for at least 10 minutes and of course people r looking over. My wife offered to apologize and she did.At no time did we raise our voice and were shocked at this display of anger. We live in the area for 20 years and eaten here many times,the last time Shauna took care of us and told her u did and excellent job,her reply I know, Shauna is always very loud and obnoxious and ALWAYS has the last word. My wife and I r in our 70's and married 50+ years and I'm a retired Navy Veteran. When I went to the register to pay Shauna came over, I mentioned that I was retired military, she gave a little smirk but I did get a 10% discount. My wife now asked for an apology..Shauna replied "maybe when u come back". Her reply we will never be back. Of course Shauna yelled back when we walked out. Total time in Billy's 1 hr. 45 min. for 2 orders of scrambled eggs.....P.S My wife is the nicest person I...

First time here, stopped in on a Sunday morning and was happy to see I arrived just in time before the waiting line! I decided to go with the Sunday special- sausage and cheese omelette. I requested it be “soft” i.e. not dry and over cooked. The food was served so quick Im certain the omelette was already prepared (also the cheese was room temperature). the amount of cheese was overwhelming for me but might be paradise for an avid cheese lover. it was a generous portion of potatoes, cooked with onions. potatoes served at right temperature. toast is served un buttered but the little tubs of butter were not soft enough to spread...maybe later in the morning the butter will be soft enough to butter the toast. last but not least, @ $2.55 the coffee is mediocre and overpriced. no real creamer on the table. the server was friendly, other than the coffee, prices ok. Can’t miss the bright...
