This was our first time to this relatively new Sarasota Italian restaurant. It could definitely become a regular place for us. First, it's very small ... only 7 tables inside so reservations are a must. The first thing you notice when walking inside is the ambience. Not at all what you might expect. Wonderful background music, not too loud and it fit it in with the rest of the atmosphere. We were warmly greeted by Olga, half of the duo who own the restaurant. After quickly being seated, we were welcomed by Marco, Olga's husband who brought out a place of, you guessed it, bruschetta!
OH MY GOODNESS! Everyone in our group of 4 agreed that it was the best bruschetta we ever had. The bread was perfectly crispy but yet still soft. The traditional bruschetta topping of finely chopped tomato, onion, garlic and basil with a drizzle of balsamic. We all agreed we could order that for dinner and be very happy!
We shared an appetizer of burrata, prosciutto, arugula and small pieces of bread. All delicious. Then came the entrees. Each of us truly enjoyed what we ordered. My husband had rigatoni with sausage and mushrooms in a spicy red sauce; our friends had a beautifully presented pescatore with spaghetti in a spicy red sauce and chicken Milanese. I went with Veal Marsala. It's always my dish I rate restaurants on. This was one of the best I ever had. Perfectly pounded veal, lightly breaded, served with a marsala sauce that was simply outstanding (that's unusual) and fettucine (perfectly cooked).
Others in the restaurant were oohing and aweing over the presentations of our dishes.
We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of Rosso di Montalcino with our entrees. For dessert, we shared a delicious warm apple pie with a delicious scoop of vanilla gelato with a caramel drizzle.
To end the evening, Olga brought each of us a shot of limoncello cream. WOW.....it so awesome when we find a new place like this that delivers on everything! Marco and Olga could not be nicer people; their food and service speak for themselves. We will definitely be back and hope the community will support this...

My wife saw it on Facebook so we decided to try it out during the week. It’s located one of the strip centers in the Gulfgate area and there’s plenty of parking nearby.
The restaurant is relatively small with about 10 tables seating maybe about 40 to 50 people at most. The decorations were nice and included bottles of wine on the wall and Italian themed art. The noise level was low and we were able to have a conversation at our table without much of a problem. They do serve wine and beer, but not spirits.
We were warmly created upon arrival and seated at a two top table. They provided a complementary bruschetta and glass of Prosecco to start. One of the owners named Marco also came out to greet us and tell us a little bit about his background.
I thought the menu was average and the appetizers struck me as a little pricey. They do have a special pasta dish called the Godfather that looked fairly large with eggplant Parmesan, a couple of meatballs and some chicken Parmesan ( I believe). Two couples at a table adjacent to us both split one of those dishes.
We ordered clams and spaghetti and the fettuccine Bolognese. Food came out timely and had good portions as well as being warm. Flavors were good but did not wow me. It would’ve been nice to have some bread with the meal, but apparently that’s not offered. I always had a glass of the house Pinot Grigio which she liked.
Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing throughout the meal. She did a good job.
They’ve only been in business about 10 months. The owner is very involved and I think they’ll continue to improve. It’s a nice addition to the small Italian restaurants that are located...
