Bud's Chicken and Seafood — Restaurant in Florida

i was a former employee here .. and i just wanted to let everyone know that they do in fact have roaches in the storage room and crawling out of the ceiling vents falling on the cookers table where food is prepared . in the storage room where everything is supplied roaches are in bags w the napkins 4 count and 6 count bags (white bags) & gloves are NOT frequently changed . chicken sits on table not being fresh majority of the time , flies constantly in the back where the food is breaded flying in fritter dough and god knows what else , employees are told to stand out side in the heat, one employee who still works there to this day had FAINTED outside and they did nothing about it only told her to go sit in the dinning room till further notice . employees are THREATENED to get fired if they do not go outside by managers or even if they don’t feel good . on another note this place is unsanitary and...

I l gotta go "middle of the road" here. Before Covid, they had the best takeout seafood platters! And chicken better than KFC, hands down! After Covid, it became hit or miss. They dealt with the backed up lines in the drive-through pretty well! I give them credit. It's the cooking and quality that went way down! We picked up dinner there about 18 months ago, and the fish was almost raw, and the scallops weren't cooked Golightly. Everything, including chicken (which was soggy), tasted "off", like it was cooked in the same oil or old(?). We didn't eat there for almost a year, then decided to try again. Everything was excellent and was regularly for several months. Then, Bam! Seafood platter made me sick! Ironically, my wife says the chicken is the best again. So, for now, I'd have to say go for the chicken. But, the thought of the seafood makes...

Bad customer service. Horrible drive-thru speaker. I like buds that’s why it’s upsetting when all locations are different. This location in particular should hire friendlier employees who know how to follow simple requests from customers. The speaker needs to be replaced because you can barely hear anything and when you repeat yourself the staff gives you attitude. Every time I go to this location they get my order wrong. They never put the sauces I PAY EXTRA FOR, if I ask for cheese on a sandwich they don’t add it, if I say dark meat only they give me the opposite. I’ve given them multiple chances thinking that maybe they had a bad day that especific day but NOO ITS ALL THE TIME.
