My husband and I have been living in a hotel since the Hurricane and we don't gave a kitchen, so we eat out a lot. EVERY time we have come here our order is correct, food is hot and the staff are very nice. A few nights ago, Dec. 15th.. we came in to have dinner, there were several new hires on shift and it was very busy. There were a few mishaps and we had to wait a while for our food. Unlike some of the customers, we did not get upset, because we recognize no ones perfect, there were new ppl on shift learning their job, and mistakes happen. In the end everything got straightend and smoothed out, customers were taken care of, and the staff was able to catch their breath and collect and learn from their mistakes. I believe and know things could have been much worse, had the manager on duty, Edwin not been so kind and professional th towards the customers and staff. He is ALWAYS polite and even under pressure he handles himself and his team in a professional manner. My husband and I are and were very impressed by this young man and his ability to fix the problems and lead his crew without anyone losing their cool. Out of every burger king we have been too, this is by far the best. EVERY visit is a pleasant one. Great...
Read moreThere are a few places that when you go to review them you wish there was an option for 0 stars. This is one of those places. It's Burger King. It's a franchise. It has standards that are nationwide. Going to be consistent, right? Wrong.
First impression, I've seen cleaner port-o-pottys than this place was. The average New York cab driver is more polite and courteous than these people. After waiting in line behind a total of two people for 13 minutes, we ordered and were informed that at 8 AM they didn't have the breakfast sandwiches ready. I tried to be flexible and ordered a burger, that was advertised as breakfast on their sign. Again, not available. I asked what was available and the answer he gave was to read the menu. How rude! I ordered and he simply stared at me finally taking my card that I was holding out. The sandwich was ice cold and hard as it had clearly been sitting and hashbrowns undercooked and clumped together. Disgusting.
I got my receipt and it had a survey on the back, but of course, that number was disconnected and survey was no longer available.
Convenient? Yes. My advice? Keep driving. There is a Starbucks a mile away, a Waffle House, a Dennys and even a McDonalds. Just don't go to...
Read morewent there yesterday and food was pretty good, however the cashier lady got pretty smart with me when she gave me my ranch. while i was filling up my cup at the soda machine she said “HELLO, do you hear me?? i have your ranch🙄” in an extremely condescending rude way. me being a fast food employee, i thought she’d just throw it in the bag when the food was ready, guess she doesn’t do it that way. another employee (one that probably gives more shi+s about her job than her) kept checking her for being on her phone in the dining room and not doing her job. i work at a wendy’s in another state, i get the whole fast food atmosphere and it being a PITA, but this is the fl keys. don’t make paradise miserable for everyone else just because you are. you are lucky to even be there more than most people, be grateful and have compassion for others. thank god for the one lady that kept checking her, i wish that manager (i think she is) the best of luck for trying to operate a restaurant the way...
