Found large piece of plastic in my food! First time we tried this place, ordered take out. I went in to pick up and two people behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge me. A nice young man who was on break eating his dinner got up to serve me. Place wasn’t busy - just one table dining in. Got home and started eating my burrito and pulled PLASTIC out of my mouth - yuck!!! I immediately called the business and politely spoke to the Manager (or owner)? Shockingly, he didn’t apologize. He didn’t sound at all surprised when I told him of the plastic. He asked if I wanted to come get a new burrito and I asked for a refund rather. So he refunded just the burrito, and decided to keep the funds for the fajitas and tip. Finally, the very last word he said before hanging up without a goodbye was “sorry”. We try hard to support restaurants during these tough times, but this business should be ashamed of their lack of professionalism and manners. Highly do...
Read moreIt was almost ok. We went here based on the raving reviews below but were pretty disappointed.
#1 more chips and salsa is extra. There were 4 adults and 1 tiny bowl of chips. We have never heard of charging for chips and salsa when purchasing a meal. We're from GA and frequent the Latin/Mexican food joints. As another review mentioned, queso was ordered but a miniscule amount of chips provided.
#2 The chips were very stale. Almost like the oil wasn't hot enough when cooked. We had to bite and kinda tear to eat them.
#3 The food was pretty bland. 2 of 4 didn't eat half. It wasn't terrible, just not great. My burrito was good though.
#4 Once our food arrived we never saw our server again. We sat without drinks for almost the entire meal and they were never refilled. I finally had to get up and go ask for the check.
Again, not terrible, but definitely did not match up to the below reviews for us or our favorite...
Read moreSo I went to Casa del Taco because Ive never been before. When I walked in the atmosphere was great, and it smelled SO GOOD. I was super excited. I ordered the Carne Asada which comes with rice and beans and guac. I ordered to go, got home, started eating, and the food is an absolute flop. My skirt steak, has NO seasoning, its super tough. The rice is so dry and hard And BLAND. Like this is the worse rice Ive ever had in my life. The only thing that was mildly good were the refried beans. One good note, the guacamole is OUTSTANDING. I had two sauces, one red, one green, both not spicy at all and taste like water mixed with cilantro. Im very upset with my order, and honestly Ill just go back to Pueblo Viejo in Fort Pierce because they are 100% tastier than this place. Ive been going to Pueblo for years, always guranteed good food. Wont be coming back to...
