T.J.Maxx is always nice I think what I really like about it is the diversity and the variety you can get a number of different things you know economically it's pretty good and they have just really nice stuff and the people there pretty nice in there to course depends on which store you going to generally I've gone to TJ Max's between Virginia and Georgia and Florida and I like them I like them all haven't run across the TJ Maxx that I didn't like to really nice place to go shopping and of course depends on what time of the year but you can get some really nice stuff at a really really great price so yep TJ Maxx is a good store I think I actually like them better than some of the other stores and I won't name them I'll just be trying to stay on the side of decent but TJ Maxx overall is pretty darn cool they have clothes they have body and bath stuff that have shoes that have perfumes no men's colognes if you want to buy you guys something nice your husband and you know they have soaps and towels and a nice selection of candies and things like that if you want that they have other toiletries on stuff for the bathroom I think you know a good assortment depending on what part of the house you want to furnish rugs and just you know different things but at the end once again I really really like TJ Maxx regionally as well as locally across three States I have no complaints that wasn't meant to rhyme it just came out that way LOL they also have some uniquely different things you just have to really you know kind of search them you just never know what you're going to run across oh I forgot about sunglasses...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would. I’m so disappointed. I went into the store on my lunch break and found these great doggy gates for $49 but I needed 2 and they only had one so one of the cashiers was kind enough to call the Altamonte location and put another one on hold for me. I was running really late as I popped in there unexpectedly just to see if they had one and then had stood in a long line already so I asked the cashier to hold the gate for me and I would come pick it right after work, she told me to just come right up to her when I come back. She kindly put it on hold for me. When I returned after work to pick it up, I came up to her but she was helping another customer so I politely waited on the side until she finished. But another lady, apparently in management came up to me and asked me what I was doing...I told I was picking up an item on hold, she told me to go stand in line until one of the cashiers calls me. It was a long line that wrapped around the stands. I was mortified that she barked orders at me to go stand in line in front of all those people, especially when I had already stood in a long line earlier that day and was here to just make a quick pickup. Needless to say, I just literally walked out the door without buying the item. No one should ever be allowed to talk to anyone like that, and especially customers. It just made me really sad because I’ve always loved TJMaxx and Homegoods, and pop in there all the time on my lunch breaks to add new things to my home. To add insult to injury, I called the store to speak to the manager, they went to get him and then...
Read moreOn November 24, 2024, I entered a store in Lake Mary, Florida, with a sign over the door reading "TJ Maxx." I purchased several items at a bank of registers that had the TJ Maxx logo. My receipt said TJ Maxx, as did the charge on my credit card. One of the items, a box of Christmas Tree balls, was defective, and glue and glitter went all over everything. On November 30, I took them to the TJ Maxx near my Mount Dora/Eustis house. I did not have the receipt because I did not think I'd ever need to return them. They told me that they would give me a store credit since I did not have the receipt, and I agreed to that. When they went to scan the item, they told me it was a Home Goods item, and I would have to take it back to the store I bought it from. That store is about 45 minutes away, with a toll road that would have cost me more than the refund of $16.04, plus the gas. I called the TJ Maxx/Home Goods store in Lake Mary, and explains my problem, to the store manager. I offered to send pictures as well as a screenshot from my credit card transaction, and asked for credit to be issued to my account. The store manager refused. I guess TJ Maxx/Home Goods/Marshall's thinks more of $15.00 than taking care of a customer who bought something from them in good faith, that turned out to be of poor quality. There are many more places to shop that treat their customers as though they appreciate their business, and are willing to take responsibility for causing a poor shopping experience. They don't even...
