Disappointing Experience: High Prices for Mediocre Food and Dubious charges - Receipt attached as proof! Our recent visit to Cubans Be Like left us utterly disappointed and questioning the rationale behind the exorbitant prices charged by this establishment. Situated in a shopping plaza with a Japanese bufet on one end, a shoe store on one side and a nail salon on the other left us scratching our heads as to why we got charged $395.95. This restaurant fails to deliver an experience that justifies its premium rates. From the moment we walked in, it became evident that we were in for a less-than-stellar dining experience since the place was empty, now we know why. It is hard to think they're having customers returning after experiencing what felt like a robbery. The service at Cubans Be Like can be best described as passable at best. While the staff were courteous, their efficiency and attentiveness left much to be desired. What struck me as particularly irksome was the imposition of a 20% service fee, in addition to a suggested tip on top of that. This practice felt excessive and unwarranted, especially given the lackluster service we received. However, the real shock came when the food arrived at our table. Despite the steep prices, the quality of the dishes was reminiscent of cafeteria fare at best. The flavors were uninspired, the presentation lackluster, and the portion sizes underwhelming. It was clear that we were paying a premium for a dining experience that fell far short of our expectations. Did I mention we too are Cuban? We know our food and this isn't even close to other TRUE high end places we have visited. I believe what has happened is that they've had so much wood varnished in there that the fumes have gotten the owners or management really high in the head, customers should not have to pay for your decision on new benches and your 20 TVs, high-end restaurants don't have TV's in them, take it from someone who have visited a Chili's or Hooters because that's what it feels like in there. If you're serving a media-noche Cuban sandwich you are nothing more than cafeteria trying to entertain the illusion of "high-end", this is not the staff's fault, it all trickles from the top down. As if the inflated prices and mediocre quality weren't enough, the final blow came when we received the bill. The total amount was of $395.95 for four adults and four kids ages (8)(5) and (3) year old twins (whom ate two fries for $7.98 literally), this number inclusive of the service fee and suggested tip, left us reeling. The overpriced nature of the food and the additional charges made us question the value proposition of Cubans Be Like. It was a rude awakening that made us vow never to return to this so-called "restaurant." In conclusion, Cubans Be Like failed to deliver on multiple fronts, from the high prices and subpar food quality to the questionable service fees. The overall experience left a bitter taste in our mouths, both figuratively and literally. For those seeking a satisfying dining experience that doesn't break the bank, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Okay I am a big consumer of Spanish cuisine. I have tried many taquerias as well as Honduran,Peruvian,Guatemalan, and well you get the picture. I have eaten at a lot of different style of places all over the USA. Arizona,New Jersey,Tennessee,Louisiana and Florida are among some of the states I tried good Spanish food. I’ve eaten in Spanish homes across America and learned the flavors of some really defined dishes. Cuban food ever since I’ve come to Florida has been fairly new to me. I’ve had it a few times in New Jersey In the area we call West New York. But since I have been here Florida I have found a few gems. This place is definitely one of them. I tried a Cuban pizza for the first time and let me tell you omg. This was a super nice blend of cheese and the little bits of chorizo placed on top danced across my taste buds and proved to me pizza has no end! The most exciting part wast the crust. It was soft airy and folded so easily. Once cooled a bit to eat the cheese stuck together forming to me what was like a fresh soft garlic bread with a flavor I’ve never come across before. The saltiness from the cheese/chorizo and the soft baked bread like texture of the crust was so complimentary to one another I wish there was more to consume! Next I ordered a Cuban Pan Bread pulled pork sandwich with fried onions. Man this pork packed some really really deep citrus flavoring with a hint of black pepper that was not over powering. The fried caramelized onion put in its own song to the flavor that made it even more desirable to try again and again. Cuban bread in its own right is great. When it’s filled with this pork and topped off with the onion and other ingredients you can choose to put on it man does it take you away till the last bite! A must have if your a lover of Cuban restaurants. Head on down to the friendly staffed setting in fort Myers. Great music small bar and a decent amount of table to handle you and your guest. Best part is the atmosphere. Come on by. When you walk in holla out “Que Bola Aceré “ they will be waiting to greet you.

We love this place! Authentic Cuban food! Five stars ✨ Great service, and a wonderful atmosphere! We are thrilled to have this beautiful Cuban restaurant in town! A Culinary Haven: An Ode to [Restaurant Name]

This restaurant holds a special place in my heart, not only for its delectable dishes but also for the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service provided by the staff.

During our most recent visit, my husband and I indulged in a spontaneous lunch escape, and once again, we were left enchanted by the culinary delights that Cuban Be Like has to offer. Among the array of tantalizing options, my newfound favorites include the mouthwatering Cuban tamal, bursting with authentic flavors, the savory Pam con bisté that satisfies every craving, and the divine crema catalana that leaves a lasting impression with its heavenly taste.

Each dish at Cuban Be Like is not just a meal but a culinary masterpiece, meticulously crafted to delight the senses and elevate the dining experience to new heights. From the first bite to the last, every dish tells a story of passion and dedication to culinary excellence.

In summary, Cuban Be Like never fails to impress, consistently delivering an unforgettable dining experience that keeps us coming back for more. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a symphony of flavors, a sanctuary for food enthusiasts, and a place where memories are made over sumptuous meals and cherished moments.
