Fast food establishments need to take note on how Culver's , especially this location , treats its customers. Id like to contrast this place with a Taco Bell I visited this weekend. At Culver's you are immediately recognized by the cashiers as you walk in. You are treated courteously and are made to feel welcomed. As I learned when I was a teen and worked part time, "a customer is not an interruption but what makes our business succeed". This location truly makes you not feel like an interruption. Now , to the opposite, what not to do. I went to the Taco Bell on st lucie west in Port St Lucie. I do have to give props when due . The cashier indeed was outstanding. Unfortunately those working in the back including the managers were awful. I ordered meal at 2:04pm. No one was in store at time I ordered. A few minutes later a man came in an ordered $50+ of KFC. This location is a Taco Bell/KFC store. At 2:16pm the man who ordered the $50 got his order while I still waited. I asked a manager about my order and her answer was that she was only making KFC orders. Didn't rush over to see the Taco Bell order maker. I was an interruption to her work day. A few minutes later same man that ordered $50 order forgot to order some Taco Bell. He went back to cashier, placed order and got that before I did. I asked again how this happened to the manager whom I was an interruption for. She said they had just missed my order. At 2:24 pm I finally got my order , 20 minutes after placing. Again, no one in store and order was 2 small meals. I asked for the GMs number and another so called manager came over. I thought she was going to apologize and comp my meal. All she did was ask what I wanted. I asked if I needed to tell her based on my experience. She again asked and I told her free meal. Said she couldn't do that . She gave me 2 free tacos but was not all too happy.
Please note difference here. One establishment (Culvers) wants me to come back . The other (Taco Bell) does not. Seeing how Culver's is always packed every time I go and Taco Bell is not it should be a wake up call to Taco Bell.
My compliments to all at Culver's. The cashiers for their sunny disposition and for their management team for training them...
Read moreMy wife and I visited Culver's for the first time in three years for lunch. After ordering, we sat down to wait for our food. Carmela, the young lady who took our order, also brought our meals to the table. She provided us with one packet of ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard to share between the two of us. When she was delivering food to another table, I asked her for more mayonnaise. She returned with just one additional packet. When I inquired if there was a shortage of mayonnaise, she started to say something about "they..." but never finished her sentence. I proceeded to fix my food and took a bite, only to realize that the onions I had asked to be added were just the outer skins. Additionally, I noticed several staff members, including Carmela, walking past a dirty napkin on the floor. They either looked directly at it or stepped over it without picking it up. It wasn't until a sweet, soft-spoken young lady named Beau stopped by to ask how our experience was going. She bent down and picked it up herself. I explained to her what had happened and what we had observed. She quickly apologized and assured us she would inform the manager on staff about the incident. Beau also mentioned there wasn't a shortage of any condiments and again apologized for the inconvenience we...
Read moreWell, I have grown quite fond of Culver's since being introduced to it just 2yrs ago; certainly VERY decent prices to go with the overall great quality of food. I do, however, have a couple suggestions...
Why exactly do people get charged extra for pickles when not included, such as for Kid's Meal burgers?
Monthly food cost is "make or break" contingent on what pickle money you receive per transaction? -.-
Also, there are 2 Culver's in this general area. One has a bin for recyclables, the other doesn't. AMAZING to actually see how much plastic gets thrown away at the one, it is such a massive difference.
Too bad most of all of these "worker & consumer-friendly" companies & corporations don't have the actual guys to follow up on the ridiculous "KiCk YoU iN ThE FeeLs FrOm ThE BaCkSiDe" commercials/ads the attempt to brainwash people with.
If they did, every single one of every single restaurant company would have this. Oh, right, most are run by greedy morons with no actual forward vision.
I guess having recycling spots in restaurants is just too costly for these people to be able to figure out how to truly walk the talk, so it's not even necessary to bring this up during managerial meetings (during "what feels will we hit next?" ad...
