This place is awesome! Fantastic food, whether you're looking for traditional European fare (including their kraut and their Pelmenis, which are pictured), or (in my humble opinion) the best damn Philly cheese steak on the market (made with freshly cut meats right from their deli meat case, and yes bell peppers, because arguing a Philly with peppers isn't traditional is like arguing the three point line in basketball isn't traditional... You're technically correct, but any individual with properly functioning sensory organs, whether we're talking about taste buds or eyeballs, would be greatly disappointed if you gave them the "traditional" version of either). A good number of German, Polish, Belgian, and even Lithuanian beer on tap, plus the deli/groceries side of the business has even more beers in bottles/cans, including some Polish Baltic porters I have in my fridge and can't wait to try. To top it all off the owner is super friendly and accommodating. Very willing to explain the different dishes and beverages they have available. Will definitely be back.

A tiny little restaurant on US 1 with a European market right next to it. We dint try the bar but they have a choice of beers and wine. Our waiter took our order and gave us good recommendations. Placki (potato pancakes) was not in the menu but he checked with the kitchen staff and agreed to get us a plate as an appetizer. We tried the Polish plate (pierogi, sausage and stuffed cabbage), sandwiches and the Souvlaki. You get 3 options for the Pierogi and I tried the meat Pierogi - Yummy!!! Service was fine. The restaurant was not busy late in the afternoon. Parking is not a problem and the restaurant is easy to get to. Browsed around the grocery store and saw some interesting European food and wine. Need to come back to try more food and shop from the store. Pricing : Moderate Will I return? : Absolutely!

Hidden Gem in Martin County For an authentic taste of Eastern Europe, Polka is a must visit. Wherever you are in Martin County it is worth driving to Polka!!! A mini-market with an impressive assortment of imported cold cuts, sweets, beer and canned goods featuring a dinning area where you can delight in home cooked authentic Polish and German dishes and mouth watering deserts 🎂🥮🍥🍰. Ana will attend to you with a warm, friendly smile and make you feel as if you are visit an old friend. The owners are working side by side providing outstanding service, Old World style. If you're born in Eastern Europe and miss grandma's cooking, Polka is a great substitute. And the adventurous, multi cultural American will feel as if they traveled to Europe without getting on a plane!!! Go eat, shop, enjoy!!!!

We’ve been here a few times but this last visit was so special that I feel the need to express so. My elderly grandmother has dementia and as anyone familiar with dementia can understand, the moments when her personality shines through and she has a smile on her face become few and far between, but they become all the more important to cherish. As things have progressed with her dementia, she’s reverted back to speaking in German and to anyone we interact with, she will ask if they speak German which of course she did here. She was also asking about German music. There was a man (I believe the owner, I didn’t get his name) who overheard and quickly switched the music that was playing to German music. My grandmother lit up and started singing the words to each song, clapping her hands, and was so immersed in the music. We’ve found that music is one of the few things that will calm her, bring her joy, and take her back to better memories. I don’t know that they fully realize what they did for her that day and how much joy it brought her and us to see her so happy, but we are very thankful for...

In a world where customer service is rapidly declining just about anywhere one goes, it was such a surprise to find this amazing place. My family and a good friend and I stopped by today based on a recommendation about the food from another friend. The owner and staff was extremely attentive and accommodating as they guided us through their menu and provided an absolutely outstanding experience of trying new food. We had never had food from Poland and the owner who was present was kind enough to reference foods from my culture that he had tasted before in order for us to find common ground. We ordered multiple dishes and even with already extensive and amazing spread they brought out more and more samples. We loved everything! The perogies, gyros, escargot, cabbage w/hunters meat and an array of cold cuts were all absolutely worth the visit. We are definitely coming back! Their beers were also top...
