Of all the places that we visited in Siesta Key Village this one is the most amazing! If you could rate it 6 stars I would give this restaurant that high of praise. The restaurant it self is beautifully appointed and decorated. All the staff here are just incredible. This is a high class fine dining establishment and it was a true tour de force in luxury and over the top in both flavor and service. We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary here and the staff went all out to make this evening seem as magical as our Wedding night. (Strongly recommend getting reservations a week in advance if you want a spacific time and day, if its a spacific occasion let them know, they go the extra mile for their clients.) Derek was our waiter and he was incredible, did everything with a flourish and passion of the highest level of professionalism while making us feel completely at home and at ease. We wanted for nothing and our glasses never once reached empty during the whole of our visit. Derek was the very picture of grace under pressure and was able to control all the tables under his charge with balletic ease and never once missed a step or a beat. The most skilled fine dining server we've personally ever experienced. Michelle, was the floor Manager and she personally inquired from each and every table as to our pleasure with our experience, I have not a single doubt that had anything been a miss she would have done anything nessaceray to correct it, however the entire evening was flawless. (On to the food) We started our experience with the Jumbo shrimp and Crab cocktail perfectly done. They make their own sauces in house. We choose A 2017 Cakebread Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with The twin 8 oz American Wagyu Top Sirloin steaks (seared to a perfect medium-rare) we choose from the expansive menu of tantalizing delights. (These were hands down the best steaks either of us has had in our lives- and we are a custom to both Prime and Kobe beef) for our sides we went with Bourbon Bacon seared Brussel Sprouts and the Wild local Mushrooms with pearl onions both were in a class alone from anything previously had at any other restaurant. They also provided 2 treats because it was our Anniversary that we very much loved and appreciated but did not have to order because they knew it was our Anniversary. **This is definitely the epitome of what a 5 star fine dining establishment should aspire to be. However their can only be the one Original Summer House. This experience was worth every penny we spent and more. The Magnum Opus to our Anniversary Vacation on the island. Still our favorite place and Derek is still there and he is still our...
Read moreAn excellent experience celebrating our anniversary from beginning to end. Made reservations on line and received confirmation by email with a follow up call a few days before and a text letting us know our table was ready 45 mins early.
Free valet parking.
We were welcomed at the door and 3 staff members wished us a happy anniversary at different times and there was a card waiting at our table for us.
We had refreshing cucumber lemonade with sourdough bread while we waited. Sherry was very detailed in going over all the specials at each point (drinks, entrée, dessert).
We ordered oysters, crabcakes, and beet arugula salad. The oysters were from CT. Clean sweet tasty! Not knowing what to expect we were overwhelming pleased with the combination of arugula, chunks of beets with roasted pistachio, goat cheese, and sweet nice sized blueberries. I honestly can't say it had any dressing as it didn't need it with the full flavors in every bite. The two crabcakes were served over couscous with a citrus sauce. I'm not a fan of orange but the crabcakes were full of meat and the couscous had a hint of curry but nothing over powering as the artichokes also have the side a nice texture.
For our entrée we ordered a 10 oz wagyu ribeye med that was cooked perfectly served with a toasted blue cheese top with a side of maple bacon brussel sprouts. Easy to cut with a butter knife. I ate the outside pieces to enjoy the full flavor of the steak. I did like the blue cheese too but I also felt it masked the a great cut which was already rich and savory alone.
The brussel sprouts were sweet with a nice crunch of crispy bacon on top.
We ended with keylime pie topped with fresh whipped cream and blueberries. There was a mint sauce along with a blueberry sauce around the edge. It all came together so nice and wonder, where do these blueberries 🫐come from? Strange as it sounds they tasted like blueberries, fresh not bitter in each bite.
We were pleasantly surprised with a wonderful glasses of nonalcoholic "wine/champagne" so we could toast together over our dessert. Sherry and the Summerhouse made our evening delightful and memorable.
We shared everything we ordered and they split the items ahead and served us each on separate plates. Each item was plenty to share. The salad was large, the sides were also plentiful.
The restaurant was busy but not loud and there were many young children around with mixes of families, couples and beach goers.
There were many other dishes I like to try so hopefully it won't be long before we visit again.
Truly a...

The atmosphere is clean, refreshingly cozy, and sophisticated at the same time. It's bustling with energy yet calm enough so you can hold a meaningful conversation with your party. The ambiance is beautiful with light colors throughout yet dim enough to bring an intimate feel.
Service is impeccable. The entire staff is expertly trained (I used to be in the food service industry in high-end catering, so I know). They're friendly, well versed on the menu and pairings, discrete in their approach, and attentive without being overbearing. It's a perfect symphony of service.
The food? Get out of here. The kitchen definitely earned a five star rating. We had the off-menu special dinner for two, with a 10 oz Filet Mignon, medium rare plus. Very few steakhouses even know what that means, and even fewer can pull it off. The Filet was seared perfectly on the outside and cooked to temperature exactly how we envisioned a medium rare plus. The Lobster tails were enormous and generously served with a delicious blue crab topping. Creamed spinach? Many times the cream steals the show from the spinach, but not this time. The spinach was still the featured flavor, with the cream and seasonings being compliments. Our friends ordered the Creme Brulé (we were too full), and they said it was the best Creme Brulé they've ever had.
Prices? Of course they're premium prices, but you're paying for a totally top shelf experience. I'm notoriously picky when it comes to price to value (yes, some tease me for being cheap), and I had zero issue paying the bill and tipping 20% at the end. It was totally worth it.
Overall, Siesta Key Summer House Steak & Seafood is a must-do if you're looking for a truly premium experience. It was wonderful....
