Horrible Experience at Denny’s – Avoid at All Costs!
If I could give this Denny’s zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst dining experience my family and I have ever had. From undercooked food to terrible customer service, everything about our visit was a disaster.
First, the food was completely undercooked, which led to multiple family members getting sick, experiencing stomach aches, and even vomiting after eating. This is absolutely unacceptable, and it raises serious concerns about food safety and kitchen practices at this location.
To make matters worse, they messed up all of our orders—not just one or two, but every single one. Two of our meals took over two hours to come out, and when they finally did, they were still incorrect. We politely addressed the issue with the manager, expecting some level of professionalism and customer service, but instead, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude. The manager was aggressive from the start, raising their voice at us instead of trying to resolve the issue. Shockingly, they even threatened to call the cops, claiming we were yelling—when in reality, they were the ones who started yelling at us!
On top of all that, they tried to charge us extra despite the fact that they were the ones who got our orders wrong. When we questioned the overcharge, the staff had no reasonable explanation and refused to correct it.
It wasn’t just us experiencing issues. We saw multiple customers getting up and leaving because they weren’t being served at all. One customer even told us they were canceling their order after waiting for over an hour with no food. The lack of service and organization was evident across the entire restaurant.
Overall, this Denny’s location is a complete mess. The service is horrible, the food is unsafe, and the management is completely unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and eat...
Read moreI have to give five stars to this store because the manager at this store is the excellent at his job! I placed my order by phone for pickup through the call center which I did not realize was a call center. When I got to the store there was no record of my order I did not get the name of the person I spoke to nor did I remember the amount of my order. So I called back to the call center who told me the previous rep did not enter my order and half of the items I requested we're not on the order. At this time the manager of the store came to me I did not have to ask for him he came to me. The call center rep stated she was going to transfer me to the store. The manager stated just give me your order and I will make it for you quickly. When I gave him my order there was an order in his store that was a pickup order with the exact same items on it in a totally different name. Not only did he give me my order he corrected one of the items on the order that the phone rep told me was no longer available but it really was. I neglected to get his name because his star became a little busy after I walked in but his service is excellent. I have tried to use the Denny's app in the past when time to pay it would never process my order and confirm my order. Now I have used the pickup option by phone which in my opinion should not go to a call center this is a prime example hopefully the corporation read this to know that they have made a blunder. I decided early Saturday morning I'm up around 3am feeling hungry let me order something to eat, I decided Denny's and ended up hating my decision to the location in miami lakes on 67th Ave. When I arrived it was pretty empty which was good. So I figured instead of getting my food to go I would sit and eat worst mistake. I have never been so annoyed I experienced every 5 minutes I was interrupted by the sever, how's my meal , do I need anything , am I done. I asked the guys please allow me to eat my food in peace I didn't need anything but what I ordered. As I was eating., I was on my phone looking for things to blog about and trying to edit a video but the sever kept interrupting me I had to ask him to stop I'm good I'm trying to work and enjoy my meal which didn't taste good. I ordered a steak which he over charged me for I was dissatisfied disappointed and regret even leaving a $5.00 tip. I will never recommend this location for anyone to visit I felt like I was being rushed , I felt like I wasn't wanted there they way he kept approaching my table and when it was time to pay, I was having a brief conversation with another employee that was at the register and the sever rudely blurted what I had to pay cutting into our conversation disrespectful ly.
