Dick's Wings & Grill - Fernandina — Restaurant in Florida

This place is falling apart We arrive at 7:56 and as soon as we walked in the door a waitress stated that it would take 1 hr 45 minutes to get our food because they only had two waitress in the whole restuarant and 2 cooks. My husband said ok because he was looking forward to AYCE wings. We where told to sit anywhere once we say down a different waitress came to our table and proceeded to explain again they had 2 cooks only in kitchen and how people don't want to work and so on and on and then she proceeded to say we couldn't get all u can eat AYCE wing because they stop serving at 8:00pm and even if she put in a order 8:30 is there final order for AYCE wings. So my husband ask to speak with manager and manager stated that they for last 2 years stop AYCE at 8:00. We still order wings but inside of the restuarant a sign say Thursday AYCE wings all day. My point is what happen to customers service, what happen to hospitality, even though we arrived at 7:56 it was before 8:00 technically, why not give the customer what the came for. And just note people that where there ahead of use were still getting refills on...

I would give this place a negative 1 if I could. I walked in to pick up an online order and I was greeted by the most rude and unprofessional waitress I have ever encountered in my life. She started throwing excuses and telling me she didn't have any "to go" orders before she even asked me what my order was or if it was an online order. Then proceeds to be condescending while telling me her tablet is down with loads and loads of attitude so I walk off and sent my wife in, because she is the one that ordered the food. She also met the same lady with the same rude, unprofessional, and completely disgusting attitude. All I wanted was the wings I already paid for without the unprofessionalism and disrespect. The whole experience was horrible. Being short staffed and having technical issues isnt an excuse to be rude to a paying customer.👎👎👎

Edit: The order was paid through Grubhub. You are rquired to pay up front with Grubhub. I am not with door dash. My wife watched the server turn the tablet on and get the order after showing her the receipt....... Are we not gonna talk about...

I recently visited Dick’s Wings and had a mixed experience. We ordered the lemon pepper wings, which were very heavily seasoned—borderline overwhelming. If you like strong flavor, they might hit the spot, but for us, it was a bit too much.

We also tried the barbecue wings. The flavor was decent, but they were on the dry side. If you’re ordering sauced wings, definitely ask for extra sauce—they don’t put much on them by default.

For dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake, which unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. It was dry, had way more frosting than actual cake, and felt overpriced for the quality.

We also gave the churro fries a shot. They were decent—crispy with a nice cinnamon sugar coating—but the icing that came with them wasn’t our favorite. It didn’t really complement the churros the way we hoped.

Overall, Dick’s Wings has some okay options, but there’s room for improvement in flavor balance, moisture, and value. Would I go back? Maybe, but I’d be a bit more selective with...
