Triple D did not steer us wrong…this restaurant is AMAZING! Without a doubt, the best Italian food you’ll eat in all of the FL Keys. It is busy every single night of the week, so definitely make a reservation in advance. We ordered as much as we possibly could eat from this menu—the garlic rolls, the wagyu beef carpaccio, the Italian stuffed mushrooms with spinach, the crisp, fresh Caesar salads, the “tour of Italy” (manicotti, lasagna, chicken Marsala), the pork Osso Bucco, the truffled lobster Mac n cheese, the short rib bolognese lasagna, and the stuffed manicotti dish with spinach and bolognese—everything was SPECTACULAR! The portions were huge but that didn’t deter me from finishing every single bite of the lasagna…it was seriously the best I’ve ever had. Our server was excellent—always making sure our drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed and the atmosphere was great; romantic enough for a date night but also family friendly. Don’t forget to check in on yelp for your free glass of red wine! Delicious! Cannot wait to return!

Based on other reviews, pictures, and the DDD fame I had high hopes for DiGiorgios. We made a reservation for 6:00 on a Tuesday and there was no one there 🤷 our waitress was very attentive, though seemingly tried to get us in and out. The food: We ordered three things: fried mozzarella appetizer, the penne vodka, and the lobster mac n cheese. The fried mozzarella tasted good, but seemed to be prepared ahead of time. The outside was a little warm, with the inside cold/stiff. My penne vodka was tasty. Not the best version of the dish I've ever eaten, but I would give a 7/10. My boyfriend really didn't enjoy the lobster mac. The sauce was incredibly thick and fishy and there really wasn't any seasoning like salt/pepper in the dish. The one saving grace was the fresh noodles. He said maybe 5/10 but would not order again. Overall a relatively disappointing trip. I wouldn't recommend for friends/family visiting, but I'm also thinking it's time to lower expectations for restaurants on the Keys...

Went here for dinner. They were short staffed so a manager waited on us. Staff was hardworking but seemed stressed. Food was good and made fresh in house. Garlic rolls were good but not the best I've had. The lobster ravioli was a special that night and it was delicious. 3 humongous raviolis with delicious filling and a nice creamy tomato sauce. The house dressing on the salad is a creamy italian but is quite good. Hubby got the lobster mac and cheese which was a large portion and very delicious. The Iguana Bait beer is a local brew that my hubby really enjoyed. My drink, the Royal Hawaiian, was SO good. Really smooth. One of those dangerous drinks. They have some vegetarian options too. All in all we had a good time.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Went here for dinner on Tuesday 6/6/23...what a huge disappointment. I ordered chicken francaise and my husband ordered spaghetti & meatballs. His spaghetti came out with a giant wad of ricotta on top...he didn't even know what it was. Neither of us are fans of ricotta, so that was a turn off. He had barely any meat sauce on his spaghetti, so our waitress brought him extra. When the waitress put my chicken francaise in front of me, I knew it was going to be bad...the chicken was grayish and the sauce was brown. I make francaise at home, so I know what it's supposed look like and taste like. One bite...almost spit it back into the plate. It tasted old, nuked, and dead. Absolutely disgusting. That had to have been originally made at least 2 weeks ago, and microwaved just for me. The gravy was like thinned-out beef gravy from a can. Even the linguini tasted greasy and almost waxy.... I don’t know how they achieved that. My husband wanted to taste the chicken...he almost spit it out too. He said "Babe, do not eat that!" When our waitress Georgie came back, I asked her to take it away. As my husband dug into his spaghetti, he said "you know, this doesn't taste too good either." Having just gotten over a stomach flu, I told him not to eat it!! We asked for the check...they took the francaise off the bill. We felt bad for Georgie...it wasn't her fault. I think they need Chef Ramsay to come in and teach the kitchen staff how to cook FRESH FOOD. This was one of the worse restaurant experiences we've ever encountered! (Left there and went around the block to C&C wood fire grill. The wood fire pizza is to die for!!

To the owner: this is her husband responding.

I took a bite of her chicken, it tasted luke worm, sour and old. Not that I had to, but I advised my wife to stop eating that food immediately. Clearly, there was something wrong with it.

The pasta was ok, but the sauce had a wierd taste and didn't seem right either.

Also, if you were there (the owner), why wouldn't you have come out and addressed the issues with the food. As a business owner myself, anytime a customer has even the smallest issue, I personally take care of the problem immediately to the customer's satisfaction.

Regarding Chef Ramsay's show Kitchen Nightmares, there have been numerous times that restaurant owners said they didn't need his help, when in fact the opposite was proven to be true.

I'm not trying to be mean,...

Overall, it was a little pricey for the type of food they served us. But the flavors didn't really stick out to me. The restaurant was themed very nicely, however. It felt cozy and authentic. A lot of people came to the restaurant and practically filled it: it was about 7 p.m. on a Wednesday. The customer service was fine. Once we were done with our food, one of the waitresses noticed there were leftovers and asked if we wanted a box for them. That was a nice touch, since in other restaurants I often have to ask for the box first. As for the food, I was a little disappointed due to the fact that the restaurant was visited by Guy Fieri, which amplified my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the garlic roll appetizers were delicious: I would go there again just for those. But for the main dishes, I was expecting a unique flavor that hasn't been tried before. My daughter and I both ordered from the "Pasta your way" selection: one dish was linguine alfredo ($17)with meatballs ($9, $3 each) and the other dish was linguine rosa sauce ($16) with grilled chicken($5), respectively. The alfredo sauce tasted bland and not like other alfredo sauces she has tried. It didn't feel as creamy and had a distinct taste to it that felt flavorless and dry. The Linguini ROsa sauce wasn't notably spectacular or anything, but it was okay. The pasta was al dente, though. There were two options for soups to accompany your pasta dish: the pasta fagioli (bean and pasta soup) and a potato kind soup. The pasta fagioli was okay, but to me it tasted a bit like canned soup. The potato kind soup had a nice, thick consistency. But I could barely stomach a singular spoonful of it because it was WAY TOO SALTY! Even my daughter, who is more used to eating salty foods, could not enjoy it. To wrap up, the service was all right and the quality of the restaurant ambiance was well designed and inviting. It was the food that didn't give me a "wow" effect. And yes, too pricey for the no "wow effect". Yes, I...

My wife and I who live in Doral, Florida approximately 59 miles from the restaurant had seen the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives show where they had been showcased. We decided to take the 70 minute ride and try it out. On the TV show they showcased the veal chop which I had to try as it is very hard to find nowadays. First of all our waitress Sachi was superb. Attentive friendly and professional. The ambiance of the place itself was quaint and fine. We introduced ourselves to the owner Robert who spent time telling us about his family and dad’s history and how the Tv show was produced. It was fun to hear his stories. Now for the food Garlic knots 9/10 Mussels in a red spice sauce 9/10 Clams Casino….had to be sent back as they were undercooked. 7/10 as the clams were very small compared to the large shells and undercooked stuffing with very good bacon on top.

Main courses. Wife had osso bucco which she said was tasty but the resotto had no taste 8/10. My veal chop. Overcooked, tasted like rubber, cheese and mushroom sauce watery like it had been sitting there for days with no taste. Tried two bites and it was really unetible. Very disappointed. The waitress noticed I didn’t eat it and inquired why and I told her I was stuffed from the appetizers. She was so nice I just didn’t feel like telling her the truth and left it at that. 2/10

On the way home to Miami I went back and forth in my mind that I should’ve said something but my bottom line was forget about it. No I’m sorry we were excited to try the restaurant leaving very sad and disappointed. No I wouldn’t go back and this saddens me to write a negative review, especially since Sachi and the owner were...
